TOPIC: ISSUE153 - "Students should bring a certain skepticism to whatever they study. They should question what they are taught instead of accepting it passively."

As[with] the development of the society and improving of the technology, students should try them[their] best to catch on this society by learning knowledge. During their study, whether a certain skepticism is more important or accepting it? In my opinion, as a student, he should have his own view on every thing and in some worthy lessons where skepticism spirit is necessary, if his opinion is different from the teacher's, a certain skepticism will help the student to learn more.
Firstly, although the teachers and the books are authority, there would have[be]some flaws because of the fast development of the science. For example, the elements in chemistry are more than ever before. Almost several elements can be composed or discovered in a[every] few years. In mathematics, the smallest measure unit of length is also smaller than ten years before. So in this case, if the students only accept the things which are taught by teachers, they can not know the latest development of science because the books may not change the information when students have the lessons. If the students have the spirit of skepticism, they can gain the knowledge by asking and even discussing with their teachers.该段讲述课本知识的更新速度赶不上科技进步的速度,所以学生必须有怀疑的精神才能与时俱进。证明很充分。
What's more, the skepticism will help the students to form a better ability of research and discover[这是一个动词]. A famous educator said that the curiosity is the best teacher in our life. A way of the exhibition(表现怎么说?) of curiosity is asking question[By asking questions and getting answered students can have their curiosity satisfied, which has activate effect in cultivating their interest in learning .楼主觉得合适吗?]. When the students bring a certain skepticism to the things they study, they would gain more from the same books. This is because that[that不要] the skepticism will lead them to finding some questions in it. At the same time, the curiosity will lead them to learning more to solve these problems until they get their satisfied answers. It is quite possible that the questions and the skeptics of the students are not difficult and can not draw out some great conclusion at all. But if the students have some questions in the field of study, they will research some other information by themselves without the teachers' order[requirement怎么样?], by which way the students' research ability can be practiced. So the worthwhile wealth which students gain in the process is the improving of ability, but probably not the answers of some certain questions.通过怀疑与提问,学生满足其好奇心,获得更大的进步。这一段中间还可以简洁一点,另外可以举例证明
Admittedly, the students should not ask questions to every course they have. We can image that if every students bring a certain skepticism to every thing they learn, the system of education must drop[fall] into chaos. So in this reason, the students should accept[?是不是receive?] the knowledge first, and if they have question and skeptics, they can ask and research after class to guarantee the order of class. Also, it is conceded that the students may have some questions which are not necessary. Because our learning is a process from easy to difficult, the things we learned at the beginning may be the knowledge which is after the process of predigesting. At this time, the things learned by students is possible to be less persuasive which can only use under some special conditions but can not be used in normal conditions. The students will question that why the principles can not be used in common condition[为免重复,这句可以去掉]. If the students think too much about this, it will waste their time. As learning deep, they will gain more knowledge and these questions will be answered smoothly.转折,学生不能对什么都持怀疑态度,因为知识是一个积累的过程,很多当时不能明白的东西会随之时间的积累逐渐理解。
To sum up, students should bring certain skepticism to some things they study. Questioning what they are taught is more useful than accepting it passively. But the students should not waste too much time on some certain question which can be solved in the further learning step by step.
