提纲提交规则
Issue要一天写5篇需20天能写完比较高频的
Argument要每天写10篇甚至更多，才能在20天内完成所有的。
我们组现在有成员11人，具体每个人的任务这样来分，issue每天布置6篇，这样有5个题目是两个人来写，有1个题目是一个人单独写。
argument一天布置11篇，每人写一篇。
作业布置我想一次布置一周的，具体每天的作业必须在当天晚上11：30前上交。
为保证质量，大家写每篇提纲时至少看过3篇范文或者优秀或者普通同学的习作。具体范文可参看北美范文（即老外280篇），也可以用gter里的搜索功能进行查找。
搜索按钮在上面的菜单栏里是红色的，双击进入，键入你想要的题目如issue51就可以进行搜索了。搜索时最好选个分区,如issue综合参考区，否则可能会搜出来很多的帖子。两分钟内只能进行搜索一次。

ISSUE74提纲:
74 "The most effective way to communicate an idea or value to large groups of people is through the use of images, not language." [05/26; 06/2]
和一大群人交流想法或者价值观的最有效方式是图像而非语言。


standpoint: a view in balance, images are more effective when recording some concrete facts while language is more effective when elucidating some abstract concepts

paragraphs:

ARGUMENT提纲:
2The following appeared in a letter sent by a committee of homeowners from the Deerhaven Acres to all homeowners in Deerhaven Acres.

"Seven years ago, homeowners in nearby Brookville community adopted a set of restrictions on how the community's yards should be landscaped and what colors the exteriors of homes should be painted. Since then, average property values have tripled in Brookville. In order to raise property values in Deerhaven Acres, we should adopt our own set of restrictions on landscaping and housepainting."

the speaker fail to provide convincing proof to support such points below:

1. Though Brookville and Deerhaven are neighbours, they cannot be the same when speaker made a comparation. He failed to provide data in detail to convice me that the two towns are the same, at least are the same in landscaping and housepainting.

2.The time "seven years ago" is a long time to the development of a town, a set of restrictions seven years ago may be useless now.And during this period of time, the value of land and the value of money can be changed largely, the speaker never consider such factors in mind.

3.The speaker said that the restrictions in Brookville while never mentioned whether the restrictions were well performed.Maybe the citizens never paid attention to such restrictions during the seven years.

4.There can be other methods to raise the property values in Deerhaven Acres, why just focused on the restrictions Brookvill adopted?

5.The property values related to many factors, landscaping and housepaiting are just two of them.

人们用太多的精力来模仿他人。人们应该学会独立思考和行动，而不要照搬别人的东西，这样才能做出最适合他们的选择。
Outline:
Position: people tend to model some person that they can” be like” him or her. They can learn much from their characters, their beliefs, their attitudes to obstacle and so forth. Undoubtedly, it will help people think and act independently better, but not hammer their free choice. But people should not copy others.
1. 模仿别人有助于人们做出合适的选择。（1. 阿甘这一形象启发人们应该努力实现自己的梦想，渴望成功的精神，人们会去反思，在面对各种问题时应该抱者怎样的态度，怎样去做出选择。）
2．一味的独立思考和行动，将使人们坚持某些错误的东西，这无利于做出最适合他们的选择。（例子？还未想出来）
3．当然，模仿他人也不能保证人们能做出最适合他们的选择。（1. 过度模仿，如照搬将不利于做选择，因为环境是变化的，同时也不利于培养人们独立思考和行动的能力。 2. 选择模仿的人），但模仿一些经验，处事态度总要比单独做出判断好。
4．模仿他人与独立思考和行动并不冲突，就看人们怎么去模仿。

7The following appeared in a letter to the editor of the Clearview newspaper.

"In the next mayoral election, residents of Clearview should vote for Ann Green, who is a member of the Good Earth Coalition, rather than for Frank Braun, a member of the Clearview town council, because the current members are not protecting our environment. For example, during the past year the number of factories in Clearview has doubled, air pollution levels have increased, and the local hospital has treated 25 percent more patients with respiratory illnesses. If we elect Ann Green, the environmental problems in Clearview will certainly be solved."
分析：选Green而不选Braun当市长的原因是，Braun是市委成员，而现任市委并没有保护环境。具体体现在去年工厂的数量增加，空气污染水平提高了，呼吸道感染的病人增加了。
1．        选市长，解决环境问题不是唯一的评判标准，如经济，福利，就业等。Green所在的美好环境联盟也许只在环境方面做得出色些而已。并且，也没有相关的证据证明GEC就一定能改善环境。
2．        假使环境问题对选举占有很大的比例，也不能证明现任市委没有保护环境。也许市委采取了保护环境的相关措施，只是没有权利制止工厂的建立。
3．        空气污染水平增加，也许是全球的环境问题导致的原因。
4．        当地医院，治疗呼吸道感染的病人人数增加。也许是人们对呼吸疾病越来越重视。即使呼吸疾病的人数真的增加，也可能是别的原因，如天气的变化，越来越多的人开始吸烟。
5．        假使环境的恶化是因为市委没有保护环境。这也不能证明Braun应对此事负责，也许他是反对建厂，提倡保护环境的，只是没有权利。
6．        即使Braun应该对此事有责任，也不能证明Green就一定能在这方面做得好。
7．        即使Green做得确实比Braun好，也不能证明Green是解决方案的最佳选择。[参考了北美范文]

（1）. 科技方面（Einstein的relative theory太老的例子？Darwin的进化论，几乎全是自己通过思考和实地考察提出的）
（2）. 艺术方面（Beethoven的交响曲，刚开始时不被人接受的，人们认为他的交响曲会伤害耳朵）
（3）. 文学方面（几乎所有文学巨著都是独立思考的结果，没有独立思考就没有不朽的作品.Shakespeare, Mark Twen, O. Henry等待）
2. 让步段。copying others 有时有很大用处。对于已经相对来说比较成熟的东西，没有必要再自己花费时间精力研究一遍，直接拿来就行。（医药中的青霉素，数学应用到物理中去，物理学研究不用专门研究数学等）
