Most people are taught that loyalty is a virtue. But loyalty whether to one’s friends, to one’s school or place of employment, or to any institution is all too often a destructive than a positive force.
1 On one hand, many aspects in lives require loyalty.
2 On the other hand, loyalty should not be blind. We cannot show our loyalty to any one or group.

We are taught from a child that loyalty is a virtue. As the development of the society some people have changed their attitude about loyalty and argue that loyalty is often a destructive than a positive force whether to one’s friends, to one’s school or place of employment, or to any institution. However, as far as I am concerned, loyalty is not either a positive force or a destructive one. It depends on the groups we serve. If we express loyalty to the organization which exists reasonably, we may make the organization contribute more to our society. On the contrary, if the organization we serve is a destructive one, we must not give it our loyalty.
On one hand, many aspects in lives require loyalty. Firstly, loyalty is necessary to the marriage. Without loyalty, a couple may astray each other and at last devoice, because life is full of temptations. To some extent, loyalty between spouses is the guarantee of a happy marriage. Secondly, loyalty can help friends maintain their friendship. Without loyalty among friends, they will lose credibility to each other and making friends is only to take advantage of others. If this happens, one cannot find a really good friend and he will be isolated from others. Last but not least, a country needs loyalty from its people to develop prosperously. Loyalty is the potential force to sustain the stability of the society. If we violate all the laws and measures made by our government to assure everything goes well. How can we expect a stable life? As a member living in our country, we must support our government as long as it does good to its people. Only in this way, can we share a better life. So, loyalty plays an important role in maintain the relationships between friends, couples and individuals with his country.
On the other hand, loyalty should not be blind. We cannot show our loyalty to any one or group. Only those fair organizations deserve our loyalty. If you express your loyalty to the company which makes fake products, you will just help produce more fake products and cheat your customers. One day when your company is prosecuted, you will lose your reputation and no one will believe in you. The same is true of the terror groups. They are constituted only for destroying our society. If they get support from us they will threaten our lives seriously. Therefore, we must think second times before we decide to devote ourselves to some organizations.
All in all, loyalty is a virtue we should have, however we cannot show our loyalty to any one or any institution. We must use loyalty case-by-case. To our good friends, relatives we should express our inner respect, on the contrary, to some organizations which only destroy our society we should try to persuade them to change their mind and do good for our society rather than show our loyalty to them.
