1：主流学科通过对存在物质的研究做出肯定的结果，但是在电影电视剧中我们常会看到这种非主流学科在影响着剧情， 观众受到刺激变会寻找这些自己尝试一下，与其让这种东西变成纯粹骗人的把戏，不如研究它探出其中的道理。
2：任何一种研究存在都是有道理的，这些虽然是非主流但是它们解释了一些主流学科无法解释的问题：例如人性格天生不同的原因，同一个月份的人存在着很大的相同等。
3：可以告诉我们未来是怎样的，当我们迷茫的时候可以给我们指引方向，人们都喜欢这种占卜的感觉，人们喜欢就有存在的必要，因为研究的存在是为了满足人类的需要。

When I was a little girl, I usually confuse that is there any well prepared? When I chose an apple or an orange, I always thought that whether no matter how complicated chosen process I had made, the result was already there before I chose? I think a deluge of people have the same moment with me, we lost in our little world, but now those nonmainstreams can help us to find the answer from research. So in my personal of view, I think those nonmainstream subjects also are main roles in science.

Admittedly, nowadays, on the one hand education department pay plenty time and money for researching in the mainstream subjects like match, physics, biology and some area study for the already exist things. On the other hand, we can find those nonmainstream inquiries in an avalanche of movies and dramas. This is a very common scene: the seer tells leading actor's his/her future using cards, in western they use crystal ball or the east augur just look at the asker's face or hands. This really activates the audiences to know their later life in this way. For getting money, many people choosing fraud. So why not us encourage the study in those areas, let people go to the reliable place to avoid be cheat.

Those subjects have theory like the mainstream ones, as part of science they are reliable. For instance, astrology studies of the star's different position in different time what might influence human being. Frequently, some questions the mainstream cannot give us answer but those can: why the people born in the same moth have similar character? Why we born with different personality? We need answers so we learning those subjects. And expert base on the star's movement, the time of the birth, the crossed lines in our hands and our features can give us whys.

In the spiritual level, those nonmainstream have reasons to be researched. When we face a dilemma, we do not know what to do or which to choose, we can ask them for help. The important is that we can consider the result - as a suggestion but not totally depend your future on it. Notwithstanding it is not the only factor playing in the decision, yet, it cans relief pain during the hard choice. People like the feeling: augur shows the direction. Asker all like to know what will happen in fewer years later, in my old age? How long will I be in this world? Who will be my boyfriend or girlfriend? Will this problem be solved? Will I choose divorce or not? We all have a huge number of questions about future, we would like to know. Those subject can satisfy human needs so them have the changes to live, after all, all the areas of inquiry is satisfied human's need.

To sum up, we cannot make choices only listening the augur says. Making a decision involve many main factors which all should be considered. But those nonmainstream subject as an inquiry which can satisfy our mental needs, can answer the question the mainstream cannot,
absolutely have the necessity to exist.
