Issue147【Persistence小组】第9次作业 With rapidly developing of society and technology(感觉如果用名词可能更保险一些 With the rapid development of society and technology), human civilization enters a fresh era, in which newly complex technology and its applications bring about efficient energy for increasing. Sometimes people pay more attention to the modernization, rather than the tradition, however, I disagree with the assertion that incompatibleness exists between them. (这句话的论证有问题 翻译过来是 有些人更重视现代化 但是我不同意这种现代化&传统不相容的论断 前后不搭) To begin with, some incompatible phenomenon indeed misleads the public to believe that one must have a choice between them. It is somewhat acceptable that in some countries' certain developing process the two notions clashed, indicating one should be abandoned. For example recent years, with the prevalence of computer and multimedia, the modern teaching method, in universities and even some secondary schools, challenges the traditional one,(-破折号) writing with chalk on the big blackboard. We prefer the multimedia form which stands for the modern, for it is convenient, clear, and vivid. Most people will choose the modern methods which can meliorate the traditional one and propel it to a higher level. Under certain circumstance, however, the tradition seems to be irreplaceable. In these cases, one may allege that when they clash, it is necessary to take either for future.(论断不错 语病较少 苍蝇进步非常大呢) However, after anatomizing these phenomena, we discover the two notions can coexist and even complement each other perfectly. For instance, the classical music, played by violin, piano, cello and so forth, now are developing in the modern world in which CD, mp3, and other fresh digital music form prevail. Though the modern form strongly affects the world, even some mobiles have the function of playing the music; classical music still firmly stands as one of the most beautiful one in the world. It never dies out from our sights, and the modern form does not die in cradle either, both developing firmly in present. Sometimes the new form as a media helps the classic widely spreading, stimulating the growth of it. So we can conclude that mostly they can grow together, and people can not choose one, then abandon the other to develop separately. (论断非常好 没什么可说的了) Finally, an effective way to keep all the respects- economics, science, education, art, sport and so forth- progressing, if the society reaches the intersection, is to develop both in tradition and modernization. As if walking with both legs must be faster and more coherent than with just one leg, no matter how strong it is; developing in the two aspects must be superior to grow in just one aspect, no matter how wonderful it is. In the rapidly developing era, one who desires the most profits should not only reflect faster to the variety but also set on the coexisting road of tradition and modernization. Without tradition the whole society will lose the steady basis, human being will be the spirit source, and finally lose their selves; without modernization society lives criterion may stands at the primitive level still, human being may never know what is the car, even if they get the material, not to mention TV, CD, mp3 and so forth. To sum up, tradition and modernization may have some clashes which drive public to the mash that they are incompatible and one must have a choice. Actually, in a steadily developing society people should deal with the relationship between them rightly, keeping a balance in development, to gain more achievements. 目瞪口呆中、、、这个人太强了
