6.The following was written as a part of an application for a small business loan by a group of developers in the city of Monroe.

In this argument, the arguer conclude that building a jazz music club in Monroe(M) would be a profitable enterprise. To manifest that notion how popular the jazz music is in M which showed by the fans’ spending on jazz each year and the in broadcasting are used. In addition, the arguer reasons that the nearest emulator is far away about 65 miles. It sounds indeed feasible, but a careful examination of this argument would reveal how groundless the conclusion is.

In the first place, even the nearest jazz club is 65 miles away but it doesn’t means that in M they have no emulator because jazz music not play in jazz club only, but any bar or any club where as long as playing jazz is admit.

Second, no evidence can prove the 10,000 people who participate in M's jazz festival were all M-people, even if they were, how ensure that these 10,000 people will all responds to the jazz music club, that is the people who attend to the festival doesn’t means that they were all the jazz fans. And a point should be know that quality cannot equal to quantity. And  those well-known jazz musicians live in Monroe may be work in other region which can not serve as chip to attract more audiences.

Finally, the sorts of spending in entertainment of jazz are a lot ,for example, the cost in purchasing jazz CD or the money spend on learning this art, also someone used to go to jazz club, but not everyone who interest in jazz will pay their money in club.

To sum,……

7.The following appeared in a letter to the editor of the Clearview newspaper.

First, the arguer neglect a fact that which increase more, the air pollution levels or the polluted power of factories, if the latter, the claim that the member of the Clearview town council not protecte the environment lacks evidences.

Second, respiratory illnesses may caused by other reason, for example, the surrounding that a person work in would be a factor of catch the illnesse. Also ,air pollution sometimes called for neighbor city’s contamination.

Third, besides the problem of environment, there are many standards were needed to judge if a mayor is employable, such as development of city, public security in the city,

Finally , no information about another candidate Ann Green. No achievement as to the ever solved problems by the men, no evidence which can conceiving electorate that the men will attach importance to environmental protecting.

8.The following appeared in a memorandum issued by the strategic planning
department at Omni Inc.

9.The following appeared in a memorandum from a dean at Omega University.

First, the reason of why Omega graduates have less successful at getting jobs than Alpha University graduates have cannot simply deduce that the employee consider the grades at Omega are inflated, because no evidence indicate that the differ in job finding happens after evaluating the teaching effectiveness. If graduates have chance to obtain employment immediately after graduate is lie on the demand of socity. And the difference in whole level between these two university is affect employment.

Second, I concede that overall student grade averages at Omega have risen by thirty percent is a fact, but it doesn’t means each student has thirty percent increase in the scores. The aim of evaluating the teacher is to improve quality of education, so the increase in grades is an normal phenomenon.

Third in addition to good means of education, a train about how to find job before the student leave school is necessary for graduates getting better jobs. Some common senses and skills in finding job though not very hard but is essential which will neglect without a special course.

10.The following appeared in a letter to the editor of a Batavia newspaper.

Firstly, although 25 percent of increasing in number of milch cow is collected from the country, but the one times appreciate as before as we know is in EXcelloFoodMArket(EFM), these two data cannot account for each other

Second , the sake of appreciate in the price of milk is not clear enough. Possible reasons such as the cost of farms to produce creamery at the present , or the tip during transportation, and the fee in the process of packaging, are reasonable for milk appreciation

Thirdly, the change of the price of milk would due to the influence, or according to the demand of market, and also related to supply of milk.
