     As we all know, art plays an important role in our daily life for the art industry create much value to our econmic growth and brings lots of mental assets to people. Consequently, there are too many people who are engaged in art and relative careers which involves art comment. But some people said only artists’work weighs and creates meaningful and lasting achivements while critics’work holds noting. Of course, I suppose the idea to be extream and unilateral to some extent.
     Certainly, we should consider artists’work to be siganificient and appreaciate their effort with our sincere adorement.,The reason for which is so obviously that we can pose them without a minute’ thought. To begin with, they create so many perfect products involved in literacy, music, play, painting and so forth, each one of which deliveried sence of beauty to peoples’mind and played cultivate part on the individual to tell them which is right or wrong.for example,we can see much  in the core of humanity through Shakepere’creation. In addition, with artists’ hard work, one nations’history can be recorded in painting ,literal or other ways which in turn made us know the past. A case in point is Hema history poem in the west and Shiji in the east. What is more ,just like I have mentioned at the beginning ,art industry contributes to the national fortune and economic growth, think about how expensive is Van goghs’painting and how much benifts France government get from art industry, we can understand this point.What all these amounts to,it is no exaggerate to say artist’work gives the society some lasting value.
     But in annother aspect,we can’t ignore the the critics’effect. In my opnion,critics can be classified into the narrow sensed and the wide sensed. The former pointed to those who have professional knowledge on art. They show their own thoughts to artists’ work to make artists improve their creative ablity.Athough sometimes their judgement may not be all right,what they say really help artists open their horison while they are producting which is enabled the possibility of a lasting valued production can be bigger. Beihong Xu’s panting of horse can’t so famous and wonderful without adopting his teacher Baishi Qi’comment. And here Baishi Qi rightly played a critical role. The latter wide sensed may be even more important for it means the ordinary people,As it is widely accepted art should serve for people and art derive from life and refelect life. So each person is entitled to be critical of art. If art involves something lasting valued ,the “something” must be in ordinary peoples’ life which means the something lasting value come from ordinary peoples’life , from the critics’life. Now we can draw the conclusion that something lasting value can hardly be created without critics.
      Above in all, in fact, “something lasting value” is due not only artists’ hard sweat but also critics’harsh comments and their lives.
