Many people believed that leader, the most important role in any team, therefore, should attach more efforts on cooperation rather than competition which believed to be the prerequisite of their success by leaders. That ability to cooperate with other teammates and make every individual within that specific team can put best themselves forward is at the basis of leaders’ function. However, categorically dismiss all the competition, no matter within the team or between the teams, will absolutely deteriorate the performance of the team as a whole.

Admittedly, some level of competition is needed to perform in any job, by the same token, however, nearly every job even those in which competitive ability seems of paramount importance, such as athlete, calls for some skills in cooperating with each other. Most of our ancient maestros of acdamics, like Aristotle and Socrate, were all-around talents having marvelously command of art, science and philosophy. With the growth of all these academics into more and more complex and profound divergences, however, today it is never impossible for any prodigy to contain details of all kinds of knowledge in his mind.  Retrospect  a series of innovations or inventions in recent years, we can see clearly that they are always created by a team or several groups in the same direction rather than single individual, it is actually cooperation congregate the power of every individual create these marvelous achievement. By cooperating with each other, these youngsters will learn how to get along with others, how to compromise his own beliefs according to the benefit of the whole team, as well as how to take the advantage of the fruits that already been in there made by his teammates. Trying to lead the whole team to win out at last, leaders on the other hand, they service as a catalyst to manage the whole team of reagent better, and then the team in turn will also give a better performance. This procedure of reciprocity will reconcile and consolidate the intricate relationship within the whole team, imbuing its teammates with passion and wisdom and getting rid them of self-righteousness or reluctance of cooperation.

Of course, to encourage our youngsters to cultivate a sense of cooperation does not mean they do not need to compete with each other. Sometimes, it is competition that makes them to work harder which eventually lead to success. So it is harmful to categorically dismiss all the competitive circumstance within the team, in that one is not only preventing these juveniles from being jeopardized, ironically, he/she is enmeshed the whole team even society in a stagnancy. As we all know, in a feudal society, emperor was the supreme dictator, and everyone was confined in his/her status determined by hierarchy, many talent was thus inaccessible to a higher achievement which should be attained in a more enlightened society. The situation changed as society involving into an open and democratic one, laws and regulations were set up as a result of social reform. Like what we have witnessed these decades, every one of us has equal opportunity to present our versatilities, to compete in a test, for a job or a position. This illustrates the point that development in competition does expedite the development of society.

But more often than not, far from the superficial impression that competition can easily obtained, the fact is that, such competition may not meet the request or criteria, and what is even worse is that in many cases such competition can not conducted adequately to bear an assumed outcome.  After all, being a small part of society, when people cooperate closely with each other, we are just beginner; the key role lies in the endeavor of ourselves which can hardly come into being unless a sound mechanism is provided.

Overall, for life is a paradox: it force us to struggle to stand out from the numerous peers, to win competitors, to fight for a higher lever while it seldom allows us to accomplish such tasks solitarily. However, taking account of all the dimensions discussed in the above analysis might be a decisive step out of this dilemma.

Many people believed that leader, the most important role in any(绝对化了) team, therefore, should attach more efforts on cooperation rather than competition which believed to be the prerequisite of their success by leaders. That ability to cooperate with other teammates and make every individual within that specific team can put best themselves forward is at the basis of leaders’ function. (这句像是在论述了,在首段中不该出现)However, categorically dismiss all the competition, no matter within the team or between the teams, will absolutely deteriorate the performance of the team as a whole. (首段末句应该包括全文的观点,而不是只有主要方面的,把上一句简化以后带进however前比较好)

Admittedly(这个词应该直接用在同意作者观点上,用however来同意作者观点的开头从未见过), some level of competition is needed to perform in any job, by the same token, however, nearly every job even those in which competitive ability seems of paramount importance, such as athlete, calls for some skills in cooperating with each other(中心句用例子,恐怕不合适). Most of our ancient maestros of acdamics, like Aristotle and Socrate, were all-around talents having marvelously command of art, science and philosophy.(不是用来支持观点的例子实在没有举的必要,没有老外会认为了解Aristotle and Socrate是了不起的,何况这个例子限定了下面讨论必须是和学术的广度搭上关系,而没有深度方面的讨论) With the growth of all these academics into more and more complex and profound divergences, however, today it is never impossible for any prodigy to contain details of all kinds of knowledge in his mind.  Retrospect  a series of innovations or inventions in recent years, we can see clearly that they are always created by a team or several groups in the same direction rather than single individual, it is actually cooperation congregate the power of every individual create these marvelous achievement. (这里是需要例子,而且只是证明了cooperation的重要性,和leadership的关系呢?)By cooperating with each other, these youngsters will learn how to get along with others, how to compromise his own beliefs according to the benefit of the whole team, as well as how to take the advantage of the fruits that already been in there made by his teammates. (还是没有说出这些收获和leadership的关系,可以理解成为cooperation带来的各方面的好处,这些好处与leadership的关系,读者用几个perhaps说不定就可以把好处引向与文章主题无关的方向)Trying to lead the whole team to win out at last, leaders on the other hand(前面貌似没讲leader的第一个作用,除了首段第二句,但那句应该是对全文承认作者观点部分的总结,这里on the other hand确和他平行), they service as a catalyst to manage the whole team of reagent better, and then the team in turn will also give a better performance. This procedure of reciprocity will reconcile and consolidate the intricate relationship within the whole team, imbuing its teammates with passion and wisdom and getting rid them of self-righteousness or reluctance of cooperation.

Of course(however,中式逻辑), to encourage our youngsters to cultivate a sense of cooperation does not mean they do not need to compete with each other(这句话是真理性的,因为必对所以没有意义,原文强调的是the sense of competition). As we all(all应该去掉) know, in a feudal society, emperor(老外和中国人理解不同,看看罗马吧) was the supreme dictator, and everyone was confined in his/her status determined by hierarchy, many talent was thus inaccessible to a higher achievement which should be attained in a more enlightened society. The situation changed as society involving into an open and democratic one, laws and regulations were set up as a result of social reform. Like what we have witnessed these decades, every one of us has equal opportunity to present our versatilities, to compete in a test, for a job or a position(感觉这里彻底偏了).
