Issue 130
How children are socialized today determines the destiny of society. Unfortunately, we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society.

How will the posterity impact the future of society?  Whether will our children found a more brilliant world in future?  Questions presented by the author seem a plausible and rather bewildering debate in my viewpoint.  As it is partially considered to be the similar question as the famous one, which is the ancestor of the hen and egg, the announcement being presented emphasizes much more on the influences generated from children's rather than the society.  To the contrary, my opinion would be more willingly to accentuate the influences emerged from otherwise elements.

The question of whether children will work on the social progress sooner or later is undoubtedly accepted with a positive answer.  Whereas, it should never be forgot about the prerequisite that children should firstly being brought up, then should they contribute the society.  In other words, it is not to say the children have an effect on "the destiny of society", rather the society helps with the formalization of the children's growth.  Further, the determinations could be taken much more properly as a retrogression of the foraging, while not a positive impact on the society.  One simple fact could easily make clear this obscure logic, for instance, children were born with no difference mentally, whereas were brought up with a great range of alternations, which are considered as being impacted by the social environment.  Children grow up with the way their parents desired, as one popular social phenomenon that the children's future occupations are often similar with their parents.  Since consciously or unconsciously, parents have press their willing onto their children, which would later influence obviously in the development of the next generations.

Though children are more likely to grow in a way that has already been designed, they do have their right to choose for a different pathway.  That is another result generated from the parental education-- the ability of independent thought.  It is not to say that the children could not impact the society according to the former discussion, but rather to say it is not the time for the children to take the charge of the leadership of the society.  Only when the children would be armed with the independent abilities of trouble solving, so could one claim the fact that the destiny of society would be undertaken by the young generations.

If it is to say children with independent thought after experiencing an imitated procedure of living could be nominated as the adult, so will the impact be generated from the adult rather than the children as what was mentioned by the author.  Taking a deeper thought of the hidden logic of this reciprocity between human and society, it is much clearer now that the children are said to be impacted by the society, under the circumstances of influences from the parents.  On the other hand, so is it the same to the structure of a tree with roots and branches.  Roots provides the nutrients for the growth of the whole, while in return, the branches generate much more nutrients from photosynthesis.  So it is the same to the process of raising children.  When the roots are to the parents, or rather the society which provide with the environment for growth, so are the branches to the children, who would later on contribute to the whole society.

Then, it is not wise to define the society has no idea of how to raise the children.  As a matter of fact, people do have the exact rules of how to educate their offspring.  The rules handed down from one generation to another. If being simply put, it would be no more complicated than a belief of the truth and love.  Within thousands and hundreds of years, the sole culture of humankind could all be extracted as these two criteria, which lead us to the right way to inheritance and further development.  As a standard for defining a right or wrong question, so it is the same with the perennial verity with the future of the society.

As a retrospect of what discussed above, I would rather concede that it is not a certain group of human who would greatly dominant the future of the society, but rather the humankind himself, who is actually in the charge of his future, to impact and then to be retroacted.
