The speaker asserts that government should preserve poblicly owned wilderness areas in their natural state, even though these areas are often extremely remote and thus accessible to only a few people. I consent to the speaker's statement. To evidence the justness of it, the following argument is open to all.
Admittedly, human beings are part of the earth, which has survived the appearances and extinctions of countless species before humanity appeared, and will no doubt survive many more, even after we are gone. As the invader to this planet, we are likely to take the responsibility of nature protection. Correspondingly, the importance of enhancing human residential envrionment is equal to the importance of preseving the original natural ecology as well as protection of survival space for minority human beings.
However, people did not cherish their precious eco-envrionment natural resourses during thousands of years. The natural resourses and evironment, especially the original eco-society which is far from modern people, have suffered destructive exploitation. The earth we depend is in danger. The case of the Amazon rainforest in Brazil adds great weight to the phenomenon. An alarming new figures show that the destruction of the Amazon rainforest, the world's biggest tropical forest, has accelerated depite all efforts to curb it. And simultaneously as has been seen in Brazil, the surge in the rate of deforestration is a sign that the country's economy is booming because the forest is threatened by the rapid expansion of farming and ranching. Booming agriculture, especially soya growing, is one of the main culprits. Therefore, it indicates the greediness of human beings who would like to sacrify the eco-envrionment to satisfy their own practical needs. It is urgent for people to respond to the stress on the nature resourses caused by fast economic growth.
Finally, people all over the world begin to concentrate their focuses on the evironmental protection, espencially for the damaged original eco-system which is remote from people's residential space. A large amount of measures have been proposed, such as developing a circuating economy, cutting pollution cost in production, developing green and clean products and reducing the ecological impact by people's business, developing new energy resourses and creating a balanced eco-evironment. In China, for instance, the consciousness of environmental protection has also been evocated resulted by the serious damage to the eco-system. Among the industrial market, the vehicle exhaust emission purification equipment and clean product market have entire development potential. In the next few years, environmental protection products and engineering projects wiil constitute the main body of the industry, with environment service and consulting being the driving force. Our environmental protection industry will further merge with traditional industries so that the national economics can be developed in a healthy way. We are making up destructions we have made and it is not late yet.
In summary, from such like and considerations, human beings have to focus their attention on the fragile crust of the earth from the phenomena of the deterioration of air and water, the loss of the genetic diversity, the growing population pressures and the impact on the environment. The widerness areas, which we are often oblivious to, are equally indipensable to the whole eco-sysem and even more important to the ecology. What should we do is to keep them in their own face instead of changing into what we need.

2． 每段空行不要忘了，而且最好加个SYLLABUS，自己的思路也更清晰
3． 有点偏题的嫌疑， TERMINOLOGY “GOVERNMENT”“WILDNESS AREA”我都没在文章中看到。文章问的是政府保护那些偏远地区不受打扰对吗？ 可以谈环保的意义，说这些地方的重要性（科学价值，生态价值），但还要扯到偏远地区上来。
