The following appeared in a health newsletter.
"According to a recent study, people with many social ties report catching colds less often than do people with few social ties. Consequently, researchers conclude that having an active social life probably helps strengthen the immune system. The researchers note that catching a cold — one of a family of highly contagious viruses — gives the cold-sufferer temporary immunity to that virus in the future, but not to the many other related viruses. Merely being exposed to a new cold virus, however, is not enough for a person to catch a cold, since a strong immune system can successfully fight off some new viruses. Thus, in order to prevent catching a cold, people should strengthen their immune systems by becoming more active socially."

1论据不足信,社交活动多的人在体制和性格上都比不多的人不易感冒,社交活动意味着更有可能接触到感冒病毒.另外生活习惯也会影响是否感冒.

This argument concludes that people should strengthen their immune systems by having more social actives. To substantiate the argument, the speaker cites the result of a recent survey between people with social ties to others. Moreover, the speaker reasons the relationship between catching a cold and the immune system. However, this argument relies on the several doubtful assumptions therefore is unconvinced.

A threshold reason for i against the speaker is that it assumes that compare to the no-life person, people who being more active socially can effectively enhance people's immune system. However, the speaker offers no evidence to substantiate this assumption. Common sense informs me that owing to contacting with others, a person with more sociality will face to more viruses. Even some social actives indeed helpful to us, the speaker fails to provide any information to bolster and explain this process. Perhaps these people who take more outside sports or community works enhance their immune system, however, on the other hand, people with more social ties will bring negative impact to their living space, leading the living schedule into a chaos. In short, it is entire possible that people with more social actives may catching colds more ofen than others.

Secondly, the speaker fails to explain rationally that people will get a strong immune system due to catching colds. As a matter of fact, people often get colds may mitigate the effects from medicine injecting, as virus also have tenacity for immune competence. What worse is, people get too much colds may lead to self-defence destruction ultimately. After all, a simple immune to a sort of virus don not means he or she is strong enough to confront several viruses. Thus, the author needs to offer concrete evidence to show his assumption.

In the bottom, the arguer fails to make me convinced for his state: is not enough for a person to catch a cold that merely exposed to a new cold virus. Virus could cacategorize into potential threat and exterior present. Such as AIDS, SARS sometimes has concealed behind a secret veil. Since the speaker never cites any survey over a long time to certain patients, is complete possible that a person contagious viruses will erupt in the future. Furthermore, merely a strong immune system can always successfully to fight off new viruse? According to our common sense and living experience, some new viruses could seriously jeopardize the immune system for a person even threat the survival for humankind, for instance, consider in ancient civilization, variola haunt and afflict doctors through their life span.

In sum, the author has faild to provide adequate evidence to support his claim. To better bolster this argument, the speaker should show more detail information between social actives and catching colds. Besides, the relative between infect a simple virus and immune to it should be further validate.
