各地区自定课程的好处:按照本地学生的素质和水平设计,更利于学生的发展,对不能深造的学生,学习专业技能;符合因材施教的教育原理,对培养高级人才有好处(对保 持和发展当地文化也有好处).
坏处:比较费力气;日后统一选拔标准比较难定;(对不同地区间教育教学效果考察提出挑战)
国家制定统一课程的好处:教材统一,可以集中利用最优资源;对3有优势;
坏处:不符合人才培养的原理,抹杀了多样性。
4。结论:根据地区来开设不同课程的优势明显,能更好的实现教育的根本目的,但是需要现实条件的支撑,所以如果国家教育经费充裕budget,教育选拔体制比较完善;各地教育界人才众多;可以让各地自由。补充:但如果一个国家教育经费比较有限,体制短期内难以完善,与其出现各地混乱的场面,不如集中优势资源,统一教材。
我们分析所得的最优选择存在在理想状态下,现实生活中,情况是复杂的,任何的选择都有其合理性的一面,要根据国情作决定。
Curriculum is the course offered by educational institutions. And education is a complexity issue. Before considering from every aspects, it's not wise to give conclusion whether a nation should require same curriculum or not before students entering college. I agree more with the idea that schools in different part of the nation should have right to determine which academic courses to offer.
Before evaluate means of education, we should first think about aims of education. First to be mentioned, training potential expects in various professional fields is one important goal of education. What’ more, through specific career training, obviously students are equipped with technical skill for jobs. Someone even points out that education is also a way of transmitting cultural and value, preparing new generations of citizens to function in society.
Theoretically, we can see diverse curriculums will serve these goals better for the following reasons: First of all, designing a curriculum towards local situation, such as culture, educational background, student' capacity level, accords with the scientific essence of education and do much good to students' future development. To say more detailed, Students' curiosity will be evoked by a colorful set of courses, teacher will do their job effectively with familiar subjects, different type of talents will have their chance to demonstrate. Learning becomes not only a necessary but also a happy thing for students. And this is a key to bring out future elites of the society. However, working this way also has its disadvantages. For instance, using a same version costs much less than preparing different kinds of teaching materials. If nation's educational budget is not enough, local government needs to take over this load, or to make students' parents bear the cost. In a word, it's quite possible that education tuition will be much expensive then having a same national curriculum.
Compared with it, using same curriculum is convenient and affordable. The nation could concentrate its educational resources to develop a set of courses. And we have to admit that it's easy to make the third aim of education come true. But it betrays the scientific rule of education; destroy diversity characters and gifts of children. To sum up, its disadvantages overweight its advantages.
So, if it possible, that means we needn't worry about the nation budget for education, and there are enough expects in education fields in different parts of the nation, let local schools have their own curriculum would be our first choice. Yet as I mentioned above, it's a theoretical perfect choice, when practically considered, the answer is changeable. If the country is poor or have a very tight budget for education, then concentrates resources to apply a same curriculum might be their only choice. Every alternative has its reasonable aspects during certain situation.
