The Significant Value of History
Since our development of living, reform of society as well as the globalization has been accelerated, there are magnificent changes around us. Therefore, some people assert that our obsolete past make little effects in the present. I confess we do have numerous paradoxes that could not be solved by history; however those unsolvable problems which fix in our nature seem out of our abilities to solve as human beings. And that (delete) ignoring the importance and value of history and even, therefore, finally giving up studying history are absurd.
No doubt that history plays a significant role in guiding us in some unchangeable aspects of human. It is true that our society has changed to be more complex, however, there are some unchangeable things, at least within a short time, which relate to our way of thinking and our emotion based on mostly some nature factors. The means which we adopt to understand the science and nature that we would like to call "mathematics" derive from a long past. Those(delete) primary school students still learn mathematics of thousands years before which would be quite useful in their daily life. When we get used to recognize the old but still useful experience as knowledge, don't forget knowledge is just one kind of history passed by from our ancestors. It is undeniable that knowledge plays an important part in society nowadays, and knowledge comes from experience, and experience from history.
Being familiar with history will probably provide an path for us to explore and when we meet with the similar situations as those in the history, if history could not provide us direct guidelines to our specific problems, at least give rise to our inspirations of solving the present problems. Take the discovery of the model of atom for example. Only after Thomson discovered the existence of electron, we can begin to find out the inner system of atom. What's more, without the atom model brought up by Rutherford, , we may never come up with the modern model ,though now most of us acknowledge the Rutherford model has some serious defects. Every step in the process of promotion of atomic science is based on the past. Science can never thrive by only one man or one generation. Whereas those who resist the studying of history may argue that our present won't be the same as history. But there's no doubt that the similarity, which even if lost its meaning in leading us to a specific way, can at least actuate our inspirations, and inspirations are often indispensable for human beings. Einstein in 1905 had been motivated much by the controversy between Newton Mechanics and Maxwell electromagnetic, even it is only a controversy which however is precious legacy from antecedents studying in the field.超多的例子
History may lead us to a comprehensive understanding of our value of life, therefore predicting the future right and making the most rational choice accord to the law of our nature and the trend of development. Only looking ourselves both in the past and in the present as a whole, can we discover the beauty of circulation of life, arrange the future for our offspring as for ourselves, and understand the deep meaning of delivery of both culture and materials to the next generation. This may seem not so obviously important for our daily life; however, it is a proper understanding that ensures our safe existence and moving on while being noble and lofty.
However, there are aspects, for example, elimination of crimes and the cruelty of competition, which history can resolve, as the resister of history may say. It is certain that history will never be able to deal with all problems, and then by which way can we solve those problems, I wonder? Moreover, I doubt whether we could solve on our own.
From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw the conclusion that although there are some aspects of our present which relate to our nature and out of our ability, that history make no contribution to , this could not overwhelm the significant role history plays in the present. The unchangeable law of nature we accumulate little by little in the process of practice, the directions offered by antecedents which guide both present and future, inspirations prompted by the past or even an old paradox, and the value of life we gained while seeing through history are all indispensable for human being's survival.结尾很漂亮,学习
