The way people look, dress, and act reveals their attitudes and interests. You can tell much about a society's ideas and values by observing the appearance and behavior of its people.

In most time, the way people act reveals their attitudes, interests, and critique of value. For a single person, the behavior of an egocentric man, is mainly the result of the consideration to his own interests and affairs he cares about. He may do little for others. Unlikely to egoists, altruists care more about others than about themselves. They are willing to help others, satisfy needs of others in most time.

For a society or nation, behavior of its members also reflects some of the ideas and values this society or nation holds. For example, Chinese concern more about the interests of their family, than about themselves’. Thus, affording old parents’ lives, helping a relative in difficulty, is popular in China, for one and his parents and relatives are in the same family. When spring festival comes every year, Chinese flock to their hometown, for a memorial hold for their ancestors. What make it more acceptable is, many pairs of husband and wife are unwilling to remove the marriage relationship between them, just because of the consideration about children, although they are boring to each other. However, Americans behaves more for egoism. Most Americans will not afford their parents’ livings. They do not hold such memorial for their ancestors. And they will take no hesitate to divorce when they are unsatisfied with their spouse, taking no consideration about the children.

It is no doubt that one can learn much about a society's ideas and values by observing the behavior of its people. But more aspects of this society should be studied, if he wants to know completely about this society. As is known to all, a nation’s festivals usually show much significant information about the culture. The study in ideology needs a lot of scrutiny to the scriptures in the original period of this nation. Their language should also be studied to reveal the pattern of their thoughts.

Although people are in difference, the differences among them are not necessarily reflected in their apparels. A person, will dress formally in a ceremony, regardless of the idea in egoism or altruism. And any one has ever been to China and America can not tell the difference in apparels between this two countries. Maybe there will be a little difference in costume between cities and rural areas, in another word, people in cities dress more fashionable. But the nuance is caused mainly by the difference in economical condition, not by the difference in their ideas, for the rural residents are not so convenient to buy the fashion apparels as urban residents.

In summary, the claim that the way people act reveals their attitudes and interests are correct. But to know completely about a society, observing the behavior of its people only is not sufficient. The assertion about dressing reveals idea and critique of value is not acceptable.

很感谢你的留言和批改，其实我也不过是刚起步，写作基础不是特别好，现阶段主要还是以模仿为主，语言的模仿，结构的模仿等等。写作花的时间长也和不断的参考有关，特别是提纲的拟定有时花去半个小时。对于作文考试我也不是很有底，读到很多前辈血的教训总是让我有些不寒而栗（虽然武汉的确很冷~~），特别是逻辑感觉把握的不太理想（可能也和七拼八凑有关），放假了在学校写作的确很不爽，一天见不到几个人，能和网上未曾谋面的朋友互相切磋，共同提高还是很开心的，以后还希望多多指教了，多排排砖~~~
