The assertion presented that both parents and communities must be involved in the local schools since education is too important to leave solely to a group of professional educators, which I could hardly totally agree with. In my points of view, parents and communities should take part in their kids' education, however, stay away from education system of schools and mainly take effects in different periods of their kids' life.

Above all, as is known to general, parents and communities can never be as professional educators as teachers or tutors by all means, that is why they should become bystanders while their kids start their school life. In some cases, they will be nothing but some kind of interrupt of the whole system of professional educators. To take my personal experience as an example, I was once taught by teachers that to be a respecting person, we should never tell lies. However, I was told by my parents meanwhile that I am allowed to tell lies for the reason that some kinds of lies such as usually called ''white lies'' are necessary for people to live more easily in the society. I could not forget how confused I was when I was a little girl and found myself in a dilemma of making choice of teachers and my parents, which is really hard for kids.

However, we should also conceive that parents and communities play the most significant roles as educators in certain periods of time of kids. A famous Chinese ancient saying said and I paraphrased, parents are the very first teachers of children. When children have not approach the age to go to school, parents means teachers for kids and have great impact on them, especial in shaping their character as well as developing their attitudes of life etc.. Hilary, the ex-first lady of American and the candidate of president of U.S.A. nowadays, said in her autobiography that she has formed her strong and brave character because of the influence of her father, which illustrates my viewpoint exactly.

On the other hand, communities are more likely to be the educator of people after their graduation from schools, that is to say, when they grow up and become a member of the society. There is also a saying that societies are sorts of melting pot. What I mean is, societies are just like classrooms with no full-time teachers in it so that everyone in it can be your teacher,  meanwhile, you are sometimes someone else's teacher even without self-consciousness. One telling example is that Li Jiacheng, the wealthiest Chinese person among the world top 10, was once cheated by others in his first deal and lost all his money at that time. He wrote in his autobiography that he was learn a lesson from it although it is no doubt an unpleasant memory for him.

To sum up, not only parents but also communities are far from professional educators, thus, what they can give their kids are usually those things have nothing to do with books, such as life experiences, life philosophy and lessons and so on, which are supplements for school education systems to some grant. Moreover, they should make efforts on their kids' education in different periods of life
