History is composed of different events and trends, which had formed the meaningful milesstone in human's development of civilization have been easilt and etemally remembered by the masses. Indeed, there were lots of significant events made by the one or in any events we cannot ignore the whole backbround and environment that already been fostered by the great masses.
In the first place, the famous few fugrues in history are elected by and serve for the general public, which made them the real main role in the significant events and trends. There is a long-term heated discussion concerned about whether the conditions or surroundings bring out the heroes or the famous few give birth to the significant events. However, the general public is the main anda the most active elements of the conditions. Without them, only Da Vinic,Michelangelo, or Goeghe cannot evoke the naissance of the Europe; without them, only Napoleon, Rousseau cannot erect the capitalism into the whole Europe;without them, only Washington, or Jefferson cannot establish the democracy in America. These anonymous groups of people is the power to push the wheel of history ahead by implementing the famous few's policies and accepting their lesding. On the contray, if the famous few cannot design their stategies according to the need to these groups of people, no matter how eminent and high- status they are, they will be abandoned and overtaken in later period.
In the second place, history is replete with  events which are lead by the key individual Admittedly, all these events requiring the support of the masses which exists as an inevitable part but it is always the key individuals who provide the initial spark for those trends. The aim of today's study of history is mainly to know what happened exactly in the old period, in an objective point of view, though it is tantalizing simple to state but notoriously difficult to follow. Studying the key individuals helps us to seize the branch of the history more clearly and accurately than studying the anonymous ones. And as a matter of fact, that almost no document with the content of the masses is left makes it impossible for the historicist to study the groups. Though in the development point of view, the direction of the history is objective, and cannot be wind by anybody's perference, the emergene of a key individual do really affect the celerity of this process.
Last but not least, even if famous few did series of great things in human's history, one thing need to be sure is that it is the masses who composed of the basic conditions for those distinguished scholars.
