In this statement, the author alleges that each people in a society should obey just laws and, even more importantly, to disobey and resist unjust laws. I find this allegation to be specious. It is hasty to divides law into tow types, just and unjust.  And it also suggests wrongly that people should disobey unjust laws.

First of all, the items just and unjust are too simple to be used to categorize the kinds of laws because some laws may not be defined as either just or unjust. Something which are protected and encouraged by law bring to human being not only profit, but some negative affections. For example, in large countries, it is entirely legal for government to study citybuster and experiment on it, which does bring much visible benefit to people, while the world and human being are minatory by its horrendous power of breakage. When they were cheated, only what they could do was complaining and bearing. Thus it can be seen that the laws just and unjust are always changing with the altering of ideas and values of people.

Additionally, the laws also should not keep constant, as many people think; on the contrary, they should be challenged and mended in the progress of social development. At the beginning, laws are constituted with lots of deficiencies and leaks; many years later in the implement of the laws, those deficiencies are discovered by people, then laws are emended time after time and they can adapt the ideas of people in that while. Therefore, we can not define any law either just or unjust, but we would consider that whether laws adapt the ideas and values of people and society.

Finally, unduly emphasizing people to resist the unjust laws also spell certain risks. Abusively disobeying unjust laws may make people engender extreme ideas, which would lead to dissatisfaction on government and even insurrection.
