第7题：The influence of movies or televisions on people’s behavior

As the time developed, the role of movies and televisions in people’s daily life become increasingly significant, which influence almost every aspect of people’s work, life and attitude. But different people may find the influence different. Some people may consider the influence is good, and some people may focus its bad influence toward individual or society.

I think the most important things movies or televisions convert to us is knowledge, which you may hardly acquire from other ways. For example, a person can get to know numerous places of interest through television, even though he/she may not be there before. And what’s more important, through the television or movies, you can not only learn landscapes of that place, but also the customs of the local people. This is very difficult for someone to learn so deep when he/she arrives at the place. As a result, people who do not want to be so tired when they travel can just comfortably sit at home and enjoy the landscape or places of interest at home.

And another very important aspect of movies or televisions influence people’s behavior is people can have more fun and they can have these ways to easy themselves when they feel too much pressure on them. Take me as an example, when I am down and in the trouble, what I need to relax myself is sitting on a comfortable couch and watch a wonderful film. Then I will relax myself and gain happiness again.

However, every coin has its two sides. Movies and televisions also play a bad role somewhat, especially to the society. Because too much unhealthy information is combined with useful knowledge, when they are showed on television or movies, such as violence. This is why so many juvenile crimes happen in the society. Because they are influenced by the information, and they like to behave as the characters do in the movies. They may feel that it is just like a game without thinking the terrible results to the society and to their family.

Therefore, we could draw this conclusion carefully. The movies and the televisions do bring us convenience, knowledge and pleasure, but they also influence the society badly somewhat. We must reduce those bad aspect and enhance the good one.
