"The study of an academic discipline alters the way weperceive the world. After studying the discipline, we see the same world asbefore, but with different eyes."
Most of people go to school in childhood and acquire scientificand social knowledge. As what we knows and what we have experienced decide theway we think, I hold the opinion that after the learning of academicdisciplines we see the same world in a different way.
Some disciplines, which are often scientific ones, will tell thetruth and make the learner to see the essence regardless of therepresentational appearance. After the studying of optics, in which therefraction of light and reason of mirage are explained scientifically, we willno longer be tricked by the images of city which does not exist and theblending stick.
Comparing to the scientific knowledge, some other disciplines willtell us the fact and the original reason, illuminate our thinking and make usdeep thinkers. Many social and literae science disciplines are of this kind.Take history for example, we learn that the emperors of Chin Dynasty in ancientChina were very brutal and thus the empire was overthrow by misery people andthat the transformation of society is the trend of history, thus we understandthat the depressing of the empire was not the result of single person but adefinite result. Economics is another good instance. During the studying we aretaught to judge the market macroscopically, rather than make the conclusionrestricted to individual gain and loss. Thus, the social science give usthought of depth.
Besides the disciplines above, there are still other ones whichtrains the way we think. These disciplines induce us to think in transpositionand more than one positions. Therefore, we become more considerate. Philosophyis an example that can enlighten us to consider problems in different eyes.
Once educated, which means being told the truth and reason, andtrained to think and summarize, we are no longer ignorance. Although the worldaround us does not change, we see it with different eyes. This is the progressboth individual and human being.
完全同意。背景：一个人知道的事情和经历过的事情决定了他的思维方式，所以学习某些学科以后，尽管世界还是原来的样子但是看待世界会不一样了。
1.       有些学科，比如大多数自然科学学科，会告诉你事实和原理，从而让你看世界不只看到表面现象。比如学习了光学，了解海市蜃楼和筷子在水中看起来弯折都是光的折射作用的结果。
2.       相对于自然科学，还有许多人文科学学科告诉你事实向你解释原因并且启发你去思考，从而让你的思想更有深度站在更高的地方看待这个世界。比如历史讲述社会变革。秦使皇的例子，说明历史的变迁是必然趋势而不是偶然，不是由以两个人决定的。经济学，宏观地看待市场来判断是牛市还是熊市，而不是从个人得失来判断。通过这样学科的学习让人更加理性而不是感性地看世界。
3.       还有些学科，训练你的思维，从多个角度思考，换位思考看问题更加全面。比如哲学训练人辩证地看待世界寻求表面现象下的事物本质。物理？？看字数吧。。。
