Scandal, as a powerful weapon of mass media, does focus our attention on problems by the means that neither speaker nor reformer ever could, which is useful
in many areas. But on the other hand, it can also misguide us and drive us into the directions that the initiators desired.
On the one hand, it is true that scandals expose some facts that government or celebrities try to cover. In each area of human society, there are some kinds
of fault affairs and they have significant effects on their owners, usually discards. Take the Watergate scandal for example, in its early period it was very
hard for the police to continue investigates. But after the exposition of the media, great pressures come from all aspects of the country, leading the
resignation of Nixon. If there is no such scandal, how can we image the improvements in legislation? Another example is Korean scandal of Hwang . South
Korea's star cloner Woo Suk Hwang has cheated in his research paper in the Journal Science. All researchers in the world were shocked and taught lesson. It
is also a fiasco to the South Koeran. Therefore, scandals bring some truth to the public which the government or other organizations would not like to talk.

On the other hand, scandals can misguide the public and make the people's attention on trivial affairs. Since the mass media, such as the newspaper, magazine

and television, controls the content of a scandal, it often uncovers some unimportant privacy to obtain profits. The more people attentions pay to an
arranged scandal, the more money media companies will gain.  The distinguished basket ball star Kobe Bryant's rape criminal is magnified by a plethora of
media to increase their audience rating. It is very harmful for a celebrity lives in a society watched by all public, not mention a normal person. It is not
our fault, but is the result of media's misguide.

In sum, scandal is indeed useful in many areas of society because of its capacity to uncover the darkest side of them. But blindly believing of any scandals
can lead us to ignore the credibility of the fact and make wrong judgments. So we should always be careful with scandals and think independently. Only that
can we get the desired information from scandals.

Scandal, as a powerfulweapon of mass media, does focus our attention on problems by the meansthat neither speaker nor reformer ever could, which is useful

On the one hand, it is true that scandals expose somefacts that government or celebrities try to cover.(opening of 2nd para) In each area ofhuman society, there are some kinds
of fault affairs and they have significant effects ontheir owners, usually discards(??). Take the Watergate scandal for example,in its early period it was very
hard for the police to continue investigates(investigation). But afterthe exposition of the media, great pressures come from all aspects ofthe country, leading the
resignation of Nixon. If there is no such scandal, howcan we image the improvements in legislation?(不知道咋改,不过看起来象chinglish...) Another example is Koreanscandal of Hwang . South
Korea's star cloner Woo Suk Hwang has cheated in hisresearch paper in the Journal Science. All researchers in the worldwere shocked and taught lesson. It
is also a fiasco(good) to the South Koeran. Therefore, scandals bring some truth to the public which the government or otherorganizations would not like to talk.

On the other hand, scandals can misguide the public and make thepeople's attention on trivial affairs.(呼应topic sentence) Since the mass media, such asthe newspaper, magazine

and television, controls the content of a scandal, itoften uncovers some unimportant(unneccessary?) privacy to obtain profits. The morepeople attentions pay(paid) to an
arranged scandal, the more money media companies willgain(earn?).  The distinguished basket ball star Kobe Bryant's rape criminalis magnified by a plethora of
media to increase their audience rating. It is veryharmful for a celebrity lives in a society watched by all(the whole?) public, notmention a normal person. It is not
our fault, but is the result of media's misguide.

In sum, scandal is indeed useful in many areas ofsociety because of its capacity(capacity倾向于"容量"的意思) to uncover the darkest side of them. But blindly believing of any scandals
can lead us to ignore the credibility(good) of the fact andmake wrong judgments. So we should always be careful(换个词?we don't have to be careful though...) with scandals andthink independently. Only that
can we get the desired information from scandals.
