Nowadays, as the society developing quickly while the standards of living are also improving very fast, the concern with the arts are more concentrated as well. People define higher criterion for arts which is always the food for thought of the whole humane in the long history, just like the contention the author asserts that it is artists who gives something of lasting value, which I generally agree with while I also think we can’t ignore the latter one.

As we all known, arts is filled in creavity and inspiration, which make people acclaim as the peak of perfection, have been influncing human beings and societies deeply for generations. It is the art which is the prime of endeavor and souls of the most excellent and diligent people in thousands of years leads us whether in spirit or daily life latently. In other hands, people whether he is engaged in art or not who always take things lightly never look down upon art. Arts stands so firmly a part in all people’s hearts that nobody would suspious that the value it gives us is lasting.

How can arts seems so important to our human scoiety?First dedicated artists always tended to reflect the important aspects of their lives in all ages, whether in paintings, architectures, music or literature, we can see our ancestors vividly in all spects for the arts itself are consistuted by a great diversity of wonderful methods. To define it without exaggerating, arts is the avatar of extremely beauty while artists are the messengers to display it to the world.Up to the present, we are still immersed in Beethoven’s NO.9 Symphony and Morzart’s serenade,  days past when we are talking about London and his <the old man and the sea>, when we are appreciating Picasso’s painting.etc. Arts which have planted in our minds will give us more lasting value infuture.  

On the other hand, critictics are also important to our human society and the arts itself, for arts are getting pured in the lasting critics. Without critics, people will feel confused while confronting a large amount of newly born things, while critics can help them to differentiate valuable ones from others. Critics also give their comments on works of arts, including novels, films, music and paintings, to present their opinion on such things. Though some critics seem extreme and uncorrect, artist with high discretion will also gain benefites from it. If we draw a comparison between arts and critics,the latter seems gadbees while the former are the cattles which are stimulated by ganbees and have to move towards without stops.
In conclusion, it is not only the artists but also the critics who offer the society something of lasting value, and in future, the combination of the two will give us more beautiful things as we expect..
