Does the study of history have value only to the extent that it is relevant to our daily lives? I agree with the opinion that if the study of history could help us to make wise decision, be useful to the scientific research and play an important role in creative activities in the area of arts in our daily life, one has to admit the study of history is full of value besides a pile of papers about history facts or comments.

In the realm of economy, when we refer to the economic history, we found that the target of a bank is to make profits, which is totally different from the common understanding that bank is a national organization and it keeps money for the people so that it could cost the national fortune. Once recognizing the target above, Chinese bank starts its journey to achieve the aim of increasing incomes and finally it will become fiscally independent. In other words, in the near future the taxes from the citizens in China, which used to be spent in maintaining the survival of national banks, could be used in other aspects, such as constructing more apartments for let the people live better.

When the scientists perform researches in different scientific fields, they always find that the historical materials are valuable to inspire their current study. An example to illustrate that is about the exploration of Chinese weather regulations. Zhu Kezhen, a famous contemporary Chinese scientist, found out an effective way of predicting the weather in most parts of China by reading and analyzing the climate records of the past five thousand years. Another example is about the construction of modern bridge which makes our travel conveniently. Modern architects usually could absorb the experience from the old classical books describing the design principles of ancient bridges.

There are more examples in the areas of films and literals. The directors produce an attractive historical movie about courage, love or destroy with the help of music and light. The stories always took place in ancient times. Compared to an animated movie which tells the audience impressive lessons or truth, few people will be interested in the boring historical facts and figures. Some historical researchers have applied the strategies in past wars to present business competition recent years. After appraising the history from modern view, people learn more helpful to their career development. History facts are nothing but something useful to gain wisdom.

Some countries edit the historical facts about the wars in the books and don’t use the history properly to serve their political purpose today. They want to ruin the evidence about their past crimes, such as killing lots of innocent residents and robbing the treasures belonging to another country. They should not overlook the objectiveness of history. The right attitude they should take in the study of history is to admit the past and to establish a new cooperative relationship to other countries. Then there will be a peaceful and friendly environment for the people in the two countries that were enemies in the past to trade and communicate.

In sum, if the study of history is limited within the old facts and several records, its value will not be great. Only when we study it with creative views and apply it to improve current people’s life, such as promoting the national economic and physical constructions, predicting the weather for satisfying the industrial and agricultural needs, bringing benefits to people’s career and having people to enjoy more at leisure time, historical study will become very valuable because its practicality. However, we have to remind the people who never pay attention to the objectiveness of the history that changing the history subjectively will not produce any value, but hurt the feelings of the other countries and the foreign people.
