The study of history has value only to the extent that it is relevant to our daily life.

I agree that the purpose to learn is to use. On the process of studying, we should try to relate what we read to our daily life. And the writer divided history knowledge into two parts which is relevant to our daily life, and which is not. Does it mean that the latter one has no value?
I can hardly concede it, for other than the knowledge itself we can acquire from the study of history, we gain the mind inspired by both two parts of history which we can take advantage of in our daily life invariably.

Although some history knowledge can not be used by us in our daily life, it is still precious to us. It is can be illustrate by comparing history to mathematics We learn mathmetics from entering elemetary school to studying in university, and some one maybe study it more longer, but what percentage of knowledge we can use in our daily? Most of us learn some calculus, but how many people can use it in their daily life? However, Very few dare to say it has no value to learn calculus, why? For although most of us have rare opportunities to use the formula of calculus in our daily life, we utilize the though that transform big or complex problems into small or simple ones. The purpose of learning is to exercise our logical thinking which actually more important than the knowledge itself.

It is precisely the same with history learning. We can learn a great deal from the historical examples. When we read the fact that Nelson Mandela the son of a cacique in South Africa was willing to stay in prison for 27 years for the will to emancipate his people and in the end became the first African president in his country, we learn that persistence gives us courage to endure the experiences of suffering and trial which is crucial on the way to become a man of value. This kind of historical example instruct us how to address our own problems when we confront the adversity and provide courage to us in the face of fears to get though everyday business of living.

We also can endeavor to avoid repeating the faults had been committed in the history. Some persistent and lasting problems stem form the human nature such as greed, aggressiveness which can hardly be eliminated from us, however with history we can see ourselves more clearly and the fact that innumerous people were dead in the war and how hardly people's life was warn us in each second. We can avoid war at all cost and to some extent it is capable to reduce the outbreak of war. In sum, the study of history can help us to escape the man-made disaster what had happened before, which make us live much better than before.

History is the best material for education. It can help educators to transmit the value of their own culture in most convincing ways. It list the historical fact and never explain that results, and simply invite you to stand in front of it to elicit knowledge and ideas from yourself, in the end it help you to form your own how to deal with the relationship between you and society, what kind of life you want to live, how to realize and so forth.

In the end, it is meaningless to divide the history into two parts. The study of history is valuable whether the knowledge itself is relevant to our daily life or not.

I can hardly concede it, for other than the knowledge itself 别扭,改称从句吧!for we do not acquire knowledge alone from the study of history. we can acquire from the study of history, we gain the mind inspired by both two parts of history which we can take advantage of in our daily life invariably.

It is precisely the same with [as] history learning. We can learn a great deal from the historical examples. This kind of historical example instruct us how to address our own problems when we confront the adversity and provide courage to us in the face of fears to get though everyday business of living.(与daily life 联系起来吧!)

We also can endeavor to avoid repeating the faults [that] had been committed in the history. In the end, it is meaningless to divide the history into two parts.paradox: contradict with the beginning The study of history is valuable whether the knowledge itself is relevant to our daily life or not. 作什么成分?

summary:
merit: fluent language though some flaws in it
problem: the prologue is not consistent with the end
Ts 之间没有递进关系,层次需要改进

结尾是在驳斥作者把历史分为两个部分the writer在第一段中,后面的是一个状语从句,
的确是段首句缺乏逻辑联系,大问题,谢了
