The lecture is mainly talking about causes and consequences of corneal injuries and ulcers. Thus, the lecture completely agrees with what are stated in the passage.

First of all, the speaker thinks that hitting the face will probably make your corneal get injured. Such as ball playing, fist, fly, and other kind of tissues could get close to your eye. Meanwhile the reading passage believes that an injury to the cornea can pose a long-term problem. So, the lecture is totally in favor of the view made in the reading.

Second, the speaker discusses we are possible to get hurt from the chemical and allergy. For instance, some kinds of chemicals which may exert negative impact on your eyes, even the dust can hurt your feeble corneal. Additionally, the speaker also points out that the virus and fungus can cause the illness of corneal for its nutrient deficiency, and overexposure to sunlight can result in the injury of corneal too.
