Do you agree or disagree: Most people prefer others making decision for them than making a decision for themselves.

Decisions, which are very important in our lives, can affect us a lot. Some people may turn to others for help, or give the right of decision to others directly. But in my opinion, decisions should be made by themselves; others can only offer some suggestions and reminders.

To begin with, people often ask for advices or suggestions, but in the end, they have to make decisions by themselves. If someone faces the situation that he cannot decide immediately or he will make a great decision very influential, he must gather more ideas about that. At this time he needs suggestions. 'Think twice before you do.' The suggestions they gathered will help them have a deep thought about the problem. For instance, the presidents often hold some conferences to listen to plenty of different ideas before an influential decision being made. Meanwhile, it is themselves who are the persons who understand the situation best and the persons will be affected directly by the decision they made. As a result, people will make the decision by themselves with the help of the suggestions offered by others.

Additionally, there will be a lot of trouble if the decisions made by others. Here is a story happened beside me. My brother used to be an excellent student in senior middle school. While my aunt instead of my brother himself chose electrical engineering as his subject in university. However, my brother's interest focuses on biology. He quarreled with my aunt a lot and cannot devote himself into study. In the end, he is on the edge of failing to get his bachelor's degree. My aunt told me that he was once good at physics and seemed interested in electrical circles. But what a pity! So it is apparently that only he decides by himself, would he carry on the action till the end. If it is decided by others, he may doubt about the decision whether it is suitable for him, or even give up on the half way.

However, we should make decisions with the help of others. As the experience and the knowledge may be limited, we can make a better decision with assistants to avoid being penalized in future for a slapdash decision.

To sum up, we make decisions for ourselves, which can make us be independent and will make us enjoy every aspects of the decisions. We turn to others just for some help but not depend on others. If so, many problems will arise.
