把土地给人用是不是比给濒危动物用更重要?

Should human beings deprive endangered animals of their land? In my point of view, the answer
to this question is definitely no. The reasons are as follows.

First and foremost, we human beings have already grabbed a great many resources from animals
including their habitat land, water, food and even their life. We all know that modern society has
been moving forward quite rapid during these years, whereas the highly development is at the
cost of various kinds of animals' sacrifice. When the original arable land was used up, we expand
our territory to wildlife's habitat such as wetland and jungles. We cut down trees, kill animals, burn
weeds, pollute environment and so forth just to make room for us to grow crops. Then we quickly
exhaust the nutrition in topsoil so that we abandon that area and leave it subject to natural
erosions. Thanks to our behavior, thousands kinds of wild animals lose their hometown and
become endangered, even extinct. Since we have already realized the serious consequence of our
behavior including desertification, acid rain and so on and animals' natural habitat is of very little
proportion of the whole land area, it's time for us to do our best to save those endangered life
other than worsen their situation by seizing their precious land.

On the other hand, is it really necessary and urgent for us to rob animals' land? Science has been
advancing continuously and the high-technology could probably solve our problems of inadequate
land. We can concentrate on making highly efficient use of what we have already had by building
skyscraper and developing soilless culture. Our current usage of natural resources is quite lavish
and we could certainly attain more value from the part of resource we used to waste. Therefore,
we can surely find some other ways to deal with our expanding needs for land other than grab the
land animals live by.

Furthermore, we should not only leave animals' habitat alone but also try to return some land area
to them. It is necessary to do this because the ecosystem is suffering from what we have done and
the balance has been already broken. The result of this will be terrible just as what many
environmentalists claimed. Animals are a great treasure for us and we should help them survive to
keep the genetic diversity of nature.

To sum up, I do disagree with the claim that people should or could use endangered animals' land.
It is time for us to make up for the terrible things what we have done to nature and animals. But
the first step is to stop deprive animals of their home. Instead of using animals' land, it is better if
we could return some land to animals and help them survive. Nature will appreciate our welldoing
and we might save ourselves at the same time.
