Some people hold the opinion that technology cause children show less creative than they were in past. Others, however, may have the opposite opinion. As far as I am concerned, I advocate that technology could be effective to make the children more creative other than cause them to be less creative. There are three premier reasons as follows.


First of all, the children have more opportunities to acquire more knowledge than they were in the past owing to the development of technology. It is definitely that creativeness plays an important role in this particular period of lives. However, without the base of certain knowledge from technology, the creativeness is no more than just thinking. For example, an active boy has a dream to design an environment instrument which could be effective to reduce the pollution. But if he has no knowledge about the environment protection or chemistry, how can he achieve it. In this point, technology is able to help the children to have new ideas.




In addition, the children could take advantage of more resource to be more creative. According to a statistical data, the amount of patents has increased greatly in the past years. It is sure that the technology development performs a platform for the future creativeness. In this respect, it will be more convenient for the children to be creative. For instance, with the help of computer aided design, more and more children may fulfill their dream to be young designer because it will save a lot time to make their dream come true. Without the help of computer, the children may waste a lot of time and even lose the patience.


What is more, the children will have more chance to make their creative thinking to come true with the help of technology. Most of the children may have the creative thinking of flying like a bird. Some of them may have the ability to design a plastic plane. However, if the technology is not keeping pace with the new idea, the idea could only be a dream. On the other hand, if a real plastic plane could be manufactured, it may promote the creativeness of the children.


I would conclude by saying that technology indeed promotes the creativeness of children. Thereby, technology doesn’t cause children show less creative than they were in past.
