The speaker questions the point that a four-day workweek plan can benefit the individual employees, companies and even the country by providing contradictory evidences to the reading.

First, the speaker says that by applying the four-day work week the companies cannot save their cost and increses their profits as the reading hopes. By recuiting new employees, the companies have to provide training and mediacal care for the new. These additional cost may offcut the money saved from the old empolyees. What’s worse is that new stuff also need working spaces and computers, the cost of which may spend the companies more money.

The second argument the speaker raised is that the four-day work plan cannot resolve the unempoyment problem. Considering the cost of recuiting new stuff, most companies may just keep the former emplyees instead of adding new people. On one hand, the companies push the former employees to workover time to finish more work. On the other hand, the companies will expect the employees to finish their five-day workload in just four days. In this case, the speaker says that there will be no additional jobs created and the umemployment rate won't be reduced.

Finally, the speaker also thinks that the empolyees cannot benefit from the work plan either. Instead, they may be exposed to the risk of losing their jobs and promotion chances. The employees who just work four day a week may decrease their job abilities as the time passes by, so they may lose their jobs first in a bad economy. In addition, the five-day working employees are prone to be chosen as the candidates of a manager position, while four-day working employees may lose many chances in their career. Therefore, the individuals cannot promote their level of living by taking the new work plan, which casts doubt on the points in the reading.

First, the speaker says that by applying the four-day work week the companies cannot save their cost and increses (increase)their profits as the reading hopes. By recuiting(没有这个单词的,还是用hiring吧~) new employees, the companies have to provide training and mediacal care for the new ones. These additional cost may offcut the money saved from the old empolyees (employees 我觉得from the four-days plan更贴切). The speaker questions the point that a four-day work a week plan can benefit the individuals employees, companies and even the country by providing contradictory evidences to the reading.

First, the speaker says that by applying the four-day work week the companies cannot save their cost and increses their profits as the reading hopes.(我不知道可不可以这么说,因为reading是没有生命的,可以发出hope这个动作吗?) By recuiting new employees, the companies have to provide training and mediacal care for the new. These additional costs may offcut the money saved from the old empolyees. What’s worse (改成The worse thing会好一点)is that new stuff also need working spaces and computers, the cost of which may spend the companies more money.

The second argument the speaker raised is that the four-day work plan cannot resolve the unempoyment problem. Considering the cost of recuiting new stuff, most companies may just keep the former emplyees instead of adding new people. On one hand, the companies push the former employees to workover(分开) time to finish more work.

单词错误的已经标记出来了,请核查,mm也可以考试的时候留下3分钟左右自己检查一下单词拼写。总体来说,结构清晰,用词多样,很不错,小的细节问题再留意一下就好。
