题目:ISSUE157 - "There is no such thing as purely objective observation. All observation is subjective; it is always guided by the observer's expectations or desires."
As all observation is an interpreting process of the observers to the reality, it is reasonable to assert that the observation is to some extent a deed of recreation of the reality. Admittedly personal experience would involve in this progress. But the author unfairly asserted that there is no objective observation regardless the established science system.
No one can deny that observation is a subjective progress, in which the result is depended not only by the reality but also the experience and the prior attitude of the observers. What is worse, under some certain environment derived by the personal or group benefits the observer unwilling to alter his or her conclusion although the right it has become available to her or him. The execution of Copernicus is a case in point. At his time, the authorities may have noticed his conclusion is right. But the mechanism the earth is the center of the universe formed the base of their spiritual rule system, as a result they tries to over shadow the true one propound by Copernicus.
As the precise observation is one of the most important aspects for the progress of the science, people invented many instilments to assist us to observe, such as the inch, scale, clock and so on, which act as essential tools in our everyday life and the science research. New that the so called "mistake" in observations is an issue can not be eschewed in the observation progress, people created statistics which is a classic and old discipline focused on the progress between the observation and creating a conclusion. All discussed above illustrated people admit that the observation is a progress involved personal attitude.
While the observation is a subjective progress, can the science, which based on the rigid objective phenomenon, get development? The reality gave the positive answer. The appearance of the gene engineering, the computer and the internet are all indicated the profound progress of science and technology. The reason is just I mentioned above, although the ability of people to give objective conclusion after observation is limited, people have created many tools to assist them. The wisdom of human overcame the inborn "shortcoming" and roared the science and technology.
In sum, it is a reality that all observation is bound to be involved by the personal attitude. Nevertheless, people have the ability to get the relatively objective results under the conditions it is desired. As a result the "subjective observation" did not impact the rapid development of the science.
