3看似理想被更简单直接的观点取代，其实在实现理想的过程中，这些都是一个个短期的小目标。实际是实现理想的最终方法。要处理好此二者的关系。

The speaker asserts that the only way to succeed is to take a practical no matter which realms people are major in. However, in my view, the way to succeed components an important ingredient, idealistic, which serves as the inner driving force of people to survival rather than just live.

As we know, there are two discussing parts of human race, idealistic and realistic. Both play significant roles in our daily life. I concede that realistic help us realize current conditions and enhance the awareness of rules and restrictions in order to well adapt to competitive society and survive easily. For example, undergraduate students lacking sufficient knowledge of real world can hardly find a well niche in society even though they have humbled many great ideals and ambitions. As for that, universities have added courses, such as society practice, job career perspective, and so forth during recent years.

However, people merely focus on realistic without ideals and dreaming of well-being life of future would lose a great deal of pleasure. In fact, ideals and ambition help us conquer adversities and difficulties facing in real life. What’s more, individuals with greatness share a common characteristic that they are never lacking of ideals and ambition no matter how tough the real world is. Nelson Mandela, the first President of South African, once was put in jail for the reason that the government viewed him as a threat to their anarchy in South African. He was treated equally with other crimes killing people, cheating, arson etc for 27 years. But he never gave up his dream of establishing a democratic publication and eliminating racial strife in his country. It is the dream that encourages him to seek for the foregoing bright future.

More often than not, we find idealistic view trend to be substituted by simpler and more realistic immediate options. Actually, people break down the final dream into pieces of realistic immediate options rather than throw away their idea. By step after step, people proceed for their achievements stability. As a consequence, person without idea just don’t know destination they finally want, let alone steps along with pursuing dreams routine.

To sum up, the speaker overlooks the essence of survival and the foundation of motivation to success. Although not every individual with ideals succeeds, the achievers are definitely ones humbled great ideals steadily. Society should reinforce the necessity of ideal not only for individuals but also the whole community to ensure the whole country with a driving force for improvement.

Argument 57 Zorba pill, ulcer

In this argument, the newsletter concludes that it will be benefit for people informed with the fact that Zorba will be highly effective in preventing recurrent ulcers so that many first-time ulcers can be prevented as well. The newsletter cites a study show the effectiveness of Zorba pill in preventing ulcers. However, i find his conclusion relies on several dubious premises and grounds which make the argument unreasonable.

In the first place, the newsletter provides no evidence that the patients surveyed are representative the general group. Perhaps, people developing new ulcers, meanwhile taking Zorba pill are not willing to respond to the survey. Or perhaps, patients taking Zorba pills are healthier than patients who don’t. If so, they will be less likely to develop new ulcers. As a consequence, the survey cannot deduce further sound conclusion about the effective of Zorba pill.

In the second place, the newsletter relies on the premise that both groups of patients are under the same condition. It is most likely that patients taking Zorba pills are cured with higher quality of medical care than the other group, therefore, their rate of developing new ulcers decrease. Moreover, the newsletter provides insufficient evidence about both groups of patients eating ingredients. It is a high possibility that patients taking Zorba pills eating some nutrients that indeed the real reason for lower developing rate of ulcers.

Without ruling out these possibilities the author cannot convince me that it is necessary the case.

In the third place, conceded that Zobra pills have an effect on preventing recurrence, however, recurrence and first-time ulcers are not very equal to each other. The newsletter makes a false analogy with both medical concepts which may develop under various conditions. As for that, that whether Zobra can prevent first-time ulcers is still open to doubt.

To sum up, the newsletter’s conclusion is suspected in itself. To bolster it, he must provide information about specific health conditions of patients in the study, as well as their living circumstance. In order to better evaluate, we need more information about medicine, the difference between first-time ulcers and recurrence and so forth.
