2.15 Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Visiting museums is the best way to learn about a country.

Because of the developing world, people can have more and more money in their hand, so people begin to choose visit other cities and countries nowadays. Different people have different ways to know about the countries. Some like visit museums to know about the countries. But others like to do others thing to know about the countries.

In my opinion, I don’t agree that visiting museums is the best way to learn about a country. In the following passage, I will explain my opinion with three reasons. First of all, instead of visiting museums, I prefer to go to some places of historical interest. I choose to stay there instead of looking the pictures of there. It made me feel much better when I see the real vision of the place, smelling the odor of the flowers and feeling the flowing wind, such as Great Wall. We all know that it is the biggest and longest wall in China, but if I only see the pictures on the wall, I could not feel anything about the Great Wall about how big and long it is. Secondly, I am not interested in the museums because there is nothing interesting. As we know, most of the museums are filled with many pictures and introduction words. For me, it is not significant because the pictures only can reflect one or some parts. It can not reflect the whole thing. I would like to ask someone to tell my stories about the place. That should be more funny. Finally, the museums only show something old even through some histories. For example, the museums in American only show the develop steps of American, but I do not know what is happened now in American. And I think what is American now is more important than before. As we know, although American only has three hundreds history, it is standing at the top of world. So we could never know that through visiting these museums.

That is why I don’t agree with visiting museums is the best way to learn about a country. And I think there are much better to know about the country. If I have time, I choose to stay at there for a while. That made me know more that visit the museum.
