Reviewing through the history, we can see how great influence technologies have made upon every aspect of our life. Technology had become the tool by which we can accumulating knowledge and making progress, and it is a significant factor that influencing human being's social customs and ethics. However, at least it seems to me, never be a determined one.

We are enjoying the benefits technology brought us, in material, mental and psychological states. Human beings no longer need to struggle to survive from the force of nature, and the mechanization and various technologies are providing us unprecedented supplies. The effectiveness we get from technology saved human labour, give us more free time we can use to pursuit other things such as art. We entertain ourselves by means of modern media, and go out traveling by modern viecles technology ensure us. And the relationship between people and nation become closer, we are experiencing a globalization.

Of course, at the same time, this influence has covered the realm of social customs and ethics. Technology is the activity human take to recognize and reform the world we live in, its development and progress will certainly change the relationship not only among people, but also between human being and the nature. Custom is the mode and standard of existence of humanity, affections will be inevitable. And as a tradition, some customs might eliminate the inpropriate elements. We had abandon those superstition about ghost and evil omen, since science and technology give us funded and precise evidence to illustrate the phenomena in the nature and universe. Ethics is the standard we use to harmony human relationship, and the guide lines of our activities, and also have a close connection with the change of living condition and the development of society. Women was not allowed to find a job or even step out of their household in some region, the development of technology provide the equal social statue of both men and women. Whereas, the affection occurred in both good and evil,tube baby, organ transplant, cloning, cyber crime, have aroused heated debate in the whole world.

But the change is never a determined one. Social customs and ethics, in itself, as reflections of their history, culture, values and living method, constructed, developed, formed and changed by various reasons and through a long period. The contributing factors ranging from political to religion, from historic tradition to modern development, far beyond the power singler through technology. Then what should our attitude toward the relationship of technology and our social customs and ethnics be as it has long been pointed as a two-edged weapon? On one hand, the development of technology should under the limitation that ethnic requires, and to avoid and restrict the damage technology brought on customs and ethnics is also significant. Technology is subjective in itself, the point is our utilize toward it. We are demanding from nature at the sacrifice of our environment by means of modern technology, while, at the same time, curing diseases caused by pollution with medical facilities that technology provide us.

The influence placed on custom and ethnics is significant, and in twofold side. To sum up, the progress of science and technology should under the leading of social ethnics, and abandon the damage to the customs and ethics. Therefore, a harmonious and well-development country will not be too far away.
