There is a common phenomenon in the high leadership level, especially in the political field; the leader of the high level may be changed periodically. The reality and the survey data illustrated this regulation contribute to the well development for any organization, from politic to commercial, from education to service industry. Nevertheless changing leaders is not the surest path to the success of any groups and the proper period is varying from field to field.
In the first place, this regulation helps the organizations to keep active in their instructing direction and at the same time it contributes to the balance and the sustain development of the whole organization. In the political field, not only in the western world such as American but also in the eastern world such as China, the highest leaders of the nation have to be changed at the entire of their office. In the first concern this method helps the countries to have an initiating courage as they change their leaders. In this circumference, the time in office of any president or chair man is limited; as a result, the leaders have more strong desire to make some significant contribution to the whole nation, which will be in the better position to exploit their potential at the max level. In the second concern, this regulation assists the nations in eschewing the nepotism and other patterns of unlawful act of the leaders. As a leader with power, it is reasonable to get into corruption facing with the monetary and temptation of other types. In most cases the step down regulation can act as a limitation of this kind deed. Let's go further, if a person in office will not be changed for ever, our social pattern may come back to the fore ones such as feudalist society or even slave society. As a result the in power steps down in a certain period is a progress in our social regulation, no matter in politic field or in other ones.
For another concern for this issue is that the circle time of the change should not be limited to five years. This item should be considered case by case, as situations of different fields may vary from one to another; the detail period for the change of leaders should be determined by the practical of that profession.
Finally, revitalizing new leadership may not be the surest path for the success of any enterprise. It just one factors contributing to the success of any groups. The common sense told us that any achievement is constructed by numerous factors. In the political field, only changing leaders can not take place of the natural resource of a nation; in the commercial doom, only changing CEO can not take place of the high quality of the products as well as the excellent employees; in the education field only changing the president of a certain university can not take place of the better curriculum design and so forth.
As the aspects discussed above, it is necessary for any organizations to change their leaders at a certain period for the better development of itself. But the proper time is not limited to five years. At last but not the least, this method is just a factor to the success of any group but not necessarily the surest one, for any achievement is the contribution of numerous factors.
