叹。重写了这篇
130"How children are socialized today determines the destiny of society. Unfortunately, we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society."
1.(+)社会化的内容,与社会命运的关系, 必要性。
2.(-)社会化并不是唯一的因素。
//反例 Asperger syndrome
//让步,找出还有其他的因素
3.(-)我们确实在教育孩子问题上存在问题。社会会发展成怎样,没有一个确定的标准。类似的,怎样教育孩子也不应该用一个标准
Children are our society's future. The socialization of children is to make them participate activity in social gathering and adapt to social needs and uses. At the same time, on the way of educating them, children are always given what is correct or incorrect and don't have much concern about the choices they take.
Socialization is a process through which individuals acquire skills to be effective member of their society. Children, as the youngest generation among them, play a significantly role in fashioning the future world. They are so creative, such creativity lacks on adults who make their rational judgments based on experience which dampens out this very important aspect of us curious and investigative humans. However, the plasticity of these young mind, on the other hand, gives rise to the questions about the ability of children so young to understand the relationships so that not be deceived and manipulated by it. For example, if a child saw his/her mother expressing a discriminatory opinion about a minority group, then that child may think this behavior is acceptable and could continue to have this opinion about minority groups.
Though the need to identify and adapt to one’s own role in the society is unchallengeable, one cannot simply reckon the work of socializing children as the only and absolutely required element in creating a better society. There is a kind of syndrome called Asperger, a form of autism, acting as a example. Thousands of children suffer from it becoming isolated socially and then face rejection, isolation and bullying. However, a few of the Aspergers do extremely good. Their indifference to what other think makes them to escape from the intense peer pressure of adolescence. They can flourish within their specialty, and therefore become musicians, historians, mathematicians, etc. Even concede the lucky specialists coming out from the Aspergers takes up a small proportion, we cannot neglecting other values such as honesty, persistence, kindness and so on shaping children’s characteristic. We humans live in a social network build on the values mentioned above rather than only the relationship between us.
On the other hand, the educated socialization focus too much on the given regulations in which children could lose their natural characteristics. They are told to be dutiful to their parents; they are told to be faith between friends--all of these are answers given by the educators which means children could be aware of nothing but obey and disobey. However, each child is an independent individual; he should not be confined in any constant norms. Rather, education for socialization involves give-and-take where new individuals make sense of on organization through their own unique backgrounds and the current contexts in which the organization resides.
In the final analysis, it is the important to help the children to find the appropriate position in our society and other necessary values for them, then give them ample freedom and finally creating a better world. |
