According to the speaker, one should take any means to attain his or her goal when it is worthy.Anyone with common sense would not disagree that someone who have a worthy goal to pursue is fine, but it does not mean that this assertion is not questionable. Before dicussing this problem about attaining goal, we should clearify the define of "worthy", and the way how one pursuing the goal.It is what I will discuss bellow.

Firstly, if one has a worthy goal to pursue and work hard for it, no one would criticize him. At first sight of this statement, an old saying will occur in mind-- " Something worths doing when it worths doing well ". Correctly, everyone shoud pursue a goal, such as bettering his or her own life, developing a new relationship in a party, making some progress in study, reaching a conclusion after a sires experiments, finding a pratical way for developing the city, or moreover , the nation and so forth. From individual to the universe, there are so many goals that worths pursuing, thus , how could you argue against a person who push himself hard to attain a worthy goal.

Whereas, it coms to a question that what the goal is and how the interpretation of "worthy". No matter who should try to obtain a goal that may harm for others and society. If defining "worthy" narrowly-- in terms of individual benefit -- that might hurt other people, or on the foundation of secrificing the benefit of the society, relatively, the individual goal can not be defined "worthy".

Secondly, in a society, if everyone is pursuing his or her goal, that will result in competition. In this assumption, if the government failed in playing a role of the leadership of directing people to behaviour base on mores and hold the correct moral value, the harmony of the society will be ruined.

In addition, in the process of attaining one's goal, originality are improved, which will in turn lead to the development of the society.

To sum up, the speaker begs the problem. The worthiness of any goal, whether it be personal or societal, can be determined only by weighing the benefits of achieving the goal against its cost-- to us as well as others.
