University is the place that people can learn advance knowlege and gain social experience in it. For different people, there are different reasons to study in university. For example, some want to find a good job after graduating from university; some people hope to make friends who share the same interest in college; some people attend  university to persue a academy career. In my view, no matter what reason people study in the college for, studying in the college will be helpful for people's future's life.

First of all, a lot people attend college in order to find a good job. After mastering specific knowlege and skills in university, graduates  have a large range of available jobs to choose from and people are more likely to find a suitable job with high salary. For example, college graduates majoying in computer science can find a job easily  in a IT company. They do works like programing, testing and designing, which require a deep understanding of computer. On the contrast, people who do not attent college have limited choice in the IT company. They may only do works like sales, which require lower knowlege and provide lower salary. In fact, an advanced degree is a guarantee of a good job for the reason that people with specific knowlege and skills are e capable for advanced work.

Secondly, people attend college to make more friends who share the same interest. These friends are helpful for one's future life and career. In a college, people can find a club majoring one specific area easily, such as politic club, basketball club, literature club. A person can make new friends by jointing a club which he or she is intersted in and he or she can take part in different activities hold by the club. People in the club can still be good friends after graduating. For example, my father met uncle Jack in the chess club of his university and they work in the same city now. They play chess every weekend and they visit each other on festivals. Furthermore, friends in college can carve a career together. Take a case of Mark Zuckerburg for example, who is the founder of Facebook. When he created the facebook in Harvard University , he got the support of his roomate Dustin Moskovitz and other friends in Harvard. They helped him write code and promot the Facebook. It is true that Zuckerburg's friends are key factor of the success of Facebook.

Lastly, some people attend college because they want have an academic career. As we know, most scientific researchers have advanced degree. In my university, professors are at least get  master degree and a lot of them have PhD degree. In a university, a student can aquire the most advanced knowlege and  get the training of research. Such knowlege and research skill are neccesary for a researcher. Consequently, people go to a college and obtain high degree in order to have an academic career.

In sum, people attend college to prepare for their further life. With knowlege and skills aquired in college, they can have a better life and realize their dreams.

When it comes to the terms of coorperate,some people may think that a team cannot achieve success if there are different views among the team members. In my view, some disagreements may block a team's chance for a success, but some differences in views among team members may not be harmful to the team, and indeed, difference in views may be the key to success.
Firstly, some differences in views that are irrelevent to the team's task are not harmful to the team. Everyone have his or her own cultrue, own belief. It is ture that no one can agree with another on the understanding of  eveything. For instance, in a team, there may be both muslims and people who believe in God. They will not reach an agreement on who creats the world and whether pig is eatable. Nevertheless, such disagreement has nothing to do with the tasks of most teams except for teams that conduct religion activities. Since such disagreement are aviodless and they are not harmful, a team can ignore such different views and can still become successful.

Secondly, different opinions may help a team find the best solution to a problem and avoid mistakes. In the teamwork, different people may have different understanding of the problem and they may argue on that problem. In the argument, team members exchange their ideas and evaluate which one is best. Eventually, a plan of their work is finished, which combines everyone's idea. Obviously, it can help the team analys the problem thoroughly and make the correct decision. On the other hand, if people hold the same view in a team, they will have no chance to think twice-- to determine whether their idea is right. They will have more chance to make mistakes. Therefore, different opinions in a team is neccesary for the team's success.
Finnaly, as to the goal of a team,all team members have different views on the team's goal. Otherwise,they would fail. Every team has its own goal. For example, a football team's goal is to win the match; the goal of a medical group is to cure deseases. If there are different goals among team members, the team will not accomplish its task, and moreover, it will break up. The case of Chinese football team serve as a good example to illurstrate. In 2006, Chinese team played an important match agianst Korea. During the match,the forward did share the ball with others-- he just wanted to goal and did not care the team's performance.As a reslut, he wasted a lot of  chances and the team lost the game. Therefore, all team members should have the same goal in order to success.

In sum, the saying that People holding different views cannot achieve success as a team is not completely correct.It is ture that a team should have only one goal but some different opinions may be useful for a team.

There are two ways of discussion: discussionusing e-mail/text messaging and that using telephone/ voice-messaging. A goodway should make the discussion efficient and avoid misunderstanding so thatpeople can find the exact answer to the problem. In order to find the best wayof discussion, a further comparison between the two methods is needed.
Comparison
To begin with, the advantage of textmessage is obvious: ideas can be recorded precisely and systematically bywords. As we know, some words may share the same pronunciation, like 'too' and'two' and have different meanings. In the text message, we can recognize theword easily. Furthermore, when writing, one should translate his or her thoughtinto sentences and paragraphs. Thus, he or she must rearrange the thought, andwrite down the causations , conclusions of the argument. The text message canbe a long article, in which the topic is fully developed. That is the reasonwhy many problems such as scientific problems and ethics problems are discussedmostly by text messaging: since such problems are complex, an organized articlecan help people understand it better.


On contrast, voice-messaging has its ownadvantages. First, people can have real-time communication by telephone. Whentalking over a telephone, one can give his or her response immediately. Image aman who is fixing his car with the help of an car expert. Using telephone, hecan tell the expert the condition of the car, and get the expert's directionconveniently. It just takes a few seconds to make one step. While using textmessage, things become difficult. He has to write the message and then wait forthe response. After minute's waiting, if the expert types quickly enough, heget to know the next step, and begin to write the next message. Second, voiceis a good media to express people's feeling: the tone and the loudness of thevoice-message make the message more touching. When a man begins to speak slowlyand loudly, we get to know that he is telling the key point. Therefore, we canunderstand his idea better.


When it comes to which way is better in thediscussion of a upsetting or controversial problem, the answer is varied. As toproblems that need logical thinking, the text message is better. Because it ismore accurate than voice message, and a small mistake in reasoning could makethe conclusion invalid. Therefore, people should use text in the discussionlike modifying laws and mathematical problems. On the other hand, discussionsthat need real-time communication should use voice message. Since text messageis not convenient and real-time voice message can help people discuss theproblem efficiently. What is more, voice messaging involves emotions, whichmake one's argument more touching. Thus, other people in the discussion aremore likely to agree with him or her.

In my country, the government plays an important role in people's life. It provide health care, free education to the public and help unemployed  find job.  Undoubtly, people benefit a lot from the help of government and in my view, the saying that people do not need government aid since people can depend on themselves or their families is inaccurate.

First of all, it is true that some problems can only be solved by the government because the government has the power to make use of resources all the country. The Wenchuan earthquake in 2008 serves as a typical example of this issue.  After the earthquake, thousands of people got hurt and millions lost their house, which are destroyed by the earthquake. Obviously, people could not live by themselves since there was no water and enough food. Fortunately, the government began to send necessaries to the disaster area. Tents, clean water and food were transported from all parts of the country. Without the aid of government, people could not survived in the disaster by themselves.

Secondly, even people can deal with important issues, it takes much more money and effort to solve problems all by oneself. On one hand, most of the government's services are free or very cheap. For examples, the public colleges are free for local citizens. If one want to have higher education without the government's help, he or she have to go to a private college, which is very expensive. On the other hand, using government services can save a lot of time. Imaging a man who is heading to his workplace during rush hours, taking the subway is much faster than driving a car. Concerning about the cost of money and time, it is better for people to ask for help from the government.

Lastly, it is the government's responsibility to help people and if people refuse the government's help, it could not fulfill its task. In modern society, people pay tax to the government and the government uses tax to benefit people. In this way, the money can be fully utilized. For example, we give money to the government, and it use the money to build new roads. Therefore, people can travel more conveniently. It is the rule of society that government should help people and we should not break this rule.

In sum, people should accept the government's help in order to solve some important problems because it is difficult to solve a problem all by oneself and the government have the responsibility to help people .

Someone may choose a job with more vacation time so that they could have more time for entertainment. However, I would like to find a job which offers me a high salary but has less vacation time for a couple of reasons.

Firstly, longer work time ensures me have greater achievement in work so that I could get promotion quickly and have a better future. This is especially true in the area of IT. In a IT company, it takes a long time to finish one project. The employees need to do varieties of jobs such as writing programs, testing the system and modifying document of the project. They often work overtime. It is common for an IT employee to work ten hours a day. But it pays to work for a long time. A freshman can develop to a sophisticated manager in only one year and their salaries are much higher than people in other area. So a less-vacation job has a faster career development.

Many parents are faced with the problem of whether they should allow children to make their own choices. On the one hand, they want to help their children make the right choices but on the other hand, their children are eager to make choices by themselves. In my view, parents should give their children the right to make choices.

Firstly, it is children themselves know what they want most rather that their parents. That is, they have their own values and dreams which may be totally different from their parents. If parents impose their opinion on their children, they may not live a happy life. Take an example of my friend Jack. When he was young he showed a strong interest in drawing but his parents thought that he should be a lawyer in the future so that he could earn a lot of money in the future. As a result, he went to a law school instead of an art school. But he was unhappy because he did not like law. He failed in many subjects and could not graduate from that school. So he dropped out of school and found a job in an art studio. In the studio, he showed a talent of painting: he learned fast and composed several great paintings which made him famous all over the country. Now he is a success painter and has his own studio. This story indicates that by making their own choices, children can live a satisfying life.

Secondly, children should develop the ability of living alone. When grow up, they will leave their parents and live independently. They have to make choices by themselves since no one will tell them what to do. It is important to learn how to make decision at an early age. Taking myself for example, I left my parents when I went to college. In college, I had many choices to make, such as whether to join a football club and which course should I take. I could handle these decisions without hesitation since when I was young, my parent always encouraged me to make choices on my own and I had a lot experience in decision making. Therefore, parents should allow their children to make their own choices so that they can have a self-reliant life in the future.

To sum up, parents should allow their children to make their own choices so that they can live independently and have a satisfying life when they grow up.
