The listening material is talking about that it is more likely sea outers’ declining is because the predation, and the reading passage, considering the fact that what makes the number goes down is the pollution of the environment, dose not agree with the listening. Thus, the views of the tow are divergent.
First of all, the speakers advocates the fact that since there is no died outers’ body has been found with the evidence of some pollution contained, it must be predators who leads to the decreasing of the outer, And she mentions that after predators hunting the sea outers there are no bodies apparently since outers are all eaten. However, the reading, rather deviating from the speaker, demonstrates that the place where these outers living is under the development which will release lots of pollution and it can be detected in the water of the sea.
Moreover, the lecture raises the issue that since the whales have all disappeared due to human’s activity, it might be outers that predate sea mammals. According to her, sea lions, seals and even outers can be eaten by outers so their population has all decreased. On the contrary the passage holds a different point that there can not be predators making the outers under the pressure of decreasing because the no such huge animal can make that happen unless they are orca, but orca dose not exist in that area.
Finally, the listening part states that the uneven decline of the outers depends on the distribution of predators like orcas. Also, orcas are too big to live in shallow water or rocky water, so sea outers in these areas do not decrease and in the deep water, vireo versa. In this regard, the reading passage challenges her with the fact the uneven declining is result from the level of pollution is not always the same.
All in all, the lecture runs counter to the passage from the three aspects which are presented above.

Playing computer games is a waste of time. Children should not be allowed to play them.

It seems more and more people like to play computer games these days. Some statistic shows that the number of students, especially primary school students increased 24% for the last year. Teachers and parents are all worry about the situation. I definitely agree the view that it is a waste of time to play these games for a long time, and there should be a arrangement of time to regulate children when they play computer games.
First of all, playing computer games means students would have less time to study. Children are those who are less self-discipline. When they get addicted into games, study is ignored. Like my little brother, who is in grade four, and he is a big fan of DOTA. Every time I visit him, he is sitting in front of his computer playing DOTA, and I can see he even dose not open his backpack, let along doing his homework. Moreover, his mother tells me his head teacher has already ask her to come to school to discuss the problem of his absent minded with his study. Maybe my brother will be so regret that he has wasted a lot of time when he can not go to a better high school or even lose the opportunity to find a decant job in the future.
What seems harmful to play computer games during a really long time is not only you have to worry about your grades but also you have to take your health into consideration. Play games means you have to sit there for hours even without moving. And it can not be possible for you to do some outdoor exercise. As it is reported in the National Newspaper, there are about 83% of students who have poor eyesight and almost half of them got the issue with their eyes after play computers for so long. Besides this, the newspaper also shows even 14% students in three grade in primary schools have a unhealthy neck as they are always staring at the screen. The quality of students' bodies has remarkable declined, but if they choose using the time to play basketballs or swim, there can not be such problems.
However, we all know that students are under huge pressure of study in China. Primary school students take lots of classes in older to go a better high school. High students have myriads of homework to do to make their ECE(Entrance College Examination)'s grader higher. Even college students are working hard to win some scholarship. Playing computer games can be a good way to relax themselves after a hard day's work. But it works only when under the well arrangement of the whole day's work. Sometimes I will play games for a little while and I still have lots of time to do what I want. So when children play it, parents should make their children be ware of the time is limited.
All in all, if there is anyone out there who still doubts that play games would not affect one's study, who wonders that our health has nothing to do with playing games, this essay is my answer.
