196. “Technology creates more problems than it solves, and may threaten or damage the quality of life.”(words:373,40min)
While I concede that technology indeed cause people many problems, yet the solution it brought to the problems is far more. And also, I do not consider it is technology that damages the quality of life.
Generally speeking, conceded or not, we are experiencing a fast progress due to technology. Thousands years ago, the great-grant fathers of us, had to drive the horse-drown cabbiges or even drive on foot. And also had they to carry some water from a well miles away for drinking. The life seemed so inconvenient that they started to think about the evolution of that situation.
After a hardship and fruitful process, our life has been changed entirely. That process should be the development of technology. At modern times, whether vehicle or communication, or other even trivite things, high-tech solves the problems our ancedors faced up to, and makes their dreams come true.
Furthermore, in fact, technology improves people’s quality of life; and that might be the purpose of technology. No matter the material or the spiritual world, we are heading forward.
Admittedly, so many problems follows, traffic jams, noises of machines, dirty air, pollutions and so on; so many people complaint that the noisier and dirtier world is worse than we have before. Yet maybe they overlook that ever we make a progress, there always follow some new problems. To find out them and to solve the problems should be the true process of a progress. Since our society always needs to run ahead, the problems are inevidable.
What we should do, is to face up to those problems, not just to complaint. Also, our quality of life, especially in people’s spiritual world, several arguments come out; however, I do not think those above should all in the responsibility of technology. After all, technology is only a tool of people. With the development of society, it can happen in the end.
In short, people always love to look into and researching the world; although the result of that would be more and more problems, we must have to go ahead and continue to think about the universe, humanity, and the society.

说实话，我很艰难的把文章看完了，有的很难改，如果要改几乎要把文章中的句子重新改写过，楼主要把观点在每一段的开头写出来，然后用理论和例子共同论证，这样字数自然就多起来了，思路也就打开了，另外建议楼主现在多看看范文，看看native speaker的用词，这样写的句子就比较地道，开头虽然很难，但楼主已经迈出了很大的一步，祝楼主继续进步中
