157"There is no such thing as purely objective observation. All observation is subjective; it is always guided by the observer's expectations or desires."

Although completely objectivity is an unattainable ideal, may be even a delusion, scientists are do their utmost to observe in objective way in order to obtain more reliable evidence to reveal the regulations of nature. In my opinion, objectivity and subjectivity are both important qualities to observation, therefore it is not justifiable to simply separate them. I contend that there is no purely objective observation and subjectivity, which involves the observer’s feeling, experience and knowledge, exists in any observation.

Unbiased observation is a sham, for the act of observing itself, which is impacted mainly by two factors discussed below, alters what we are observing. As a result, it is difficult to find such thing as purely objective observation. There are three main factors that impede the objective observations: observer's personal habit, measurement used in observing process and the use of descriptive languages. Firstly, the observer's expectations and desires force the observation to seek out certain facts that strongly supports their assumption or fulfill their benefit mostly, and unconsciously overlook others. Secondly, how you set about measuring something determines the final result of the observation. For instance, you cannot measure atoms using an ordinary ruler or discover bacteria through naked eyes. Nothing been perceived does not necessarily mean nothing existed. Thirdly, every observer must discern and extrapolate information about what they have observed in descriptive languages based on previous knowledge, experience and self-condition. For example, it must appear different choices of words which depict colors between ordinary people and color blindness. Then, it is obvious that there is no purely objective observation.

Nevertheless, even though there is no purely objective observation, we still are aiming at pursuing objectivity. The more "objective" the observation, the more solidly it approaches the real truth, especially in the scientific research area. The researchers always make efforts to perceive data without being distorted by personal feelings, prejudices or interpretations. Therefore, the comparatively objective results of observation can be verifiable by other observers. Then the results will be the reality on firm ground and can be accepted by more researchers.

Moreover, as it turns out, the observers who represent subjectivity and the observed which is objective are two equally important aspects in the process of observation. Perhaps, there is no such distinct partition between them. We've been tailoring our discoveries of "objective" realities, to suit our predilections to fit our composite "subjective" reality and to conform to our paradigm. In fact, reality is neither "objective" nor "subjective." Together they comprise the reality we realized and both are equally important in its composition. What we subjectively put in is as important as the objective component. Objective observation collects original materials, while subjective factors such as observers’ expectations or desires help reveal the meanings behind them. Without objectivity, observation is completely imagination, while without subjectivity there is no observation at all.

To sum up, it is the objectivity and subjectivity that are two main characteristics of observation. Neither pure objectivity nor complete subjectivity exists. Not only can observation be influenced by subjective factors listed above, but also must be objective if we are to embrace more fundamental notion of knowledge and truth exist.

Although completely objectivity is an unattainable ideal, may be even a delusion, scientists are trying to observe in a more objective way in order to obtain the most reliable evidence to reveal the regulations of nature. In my opinion, objectivity and subjectivity are both important qualities to observation, therefore it is not justifiable to simply seperate them.

Unbiased observation is a sham, for the act of observing itself alters what we are observing. As a result, it is difficult to find such thing as purely objective observation. There are three main factors which influence the objectivity of observing results: observer's personal habit, measurement used in observing process and the use of descriptive languages. Firstly, the observer's expectations and desires force the observation to go to a certain direction which will strongly supports the observer's assumption or fulfill the observer's benefit mostly. Secondly, how you set about measuring something determines the final result of the observation. For instance, you cannot measure atoms using an ordinary ruler or discover bacteria through naked eyes. Thirdly, every observer must discern and extrapolate information about what they have observed in descriptive languages based on previous knowledge, experience and self condition. For example, it must appear different expressions of color between ordinary people and color blindness. In a word, it is too arbitrary to assert that there exists purely objective observation.

Nevertheless, even though there is no purely objective observation, we still are aiming at pursuing objectivity. The more "objective" the observation, the more solidly it approach the real truth, especially in the scientific research area. The researchers always make efforts to perceive data without distortion by personal feelings, prejudices or interpretations. Therefore, the comparatively objective results of observation can be verifiable by other observers. Then the results will be the reality on firm ground and can be accepted by more researchers. Although someone may argue that in the art area objective is a mission impossible, we cannot neglect the fact that the art works must  be loyalty to the substantial world which is objective.

Moreover, as it turns out, the observers who represent subjectivity and the observed which is objective are two equally important aspects in the process of observation. Perhaps, there is no such distinct partition before them. We've been tailoring our discoveries of "objective" realities to suit our predilections to fit our composite "subjective" reality and to conform to our paradigm. Perhaps, in fact, reality is neither "objective" nor "subjective." Together they comprise the reality we know and both are equally important in its composition. What we subjectively put in is as important as the objective component. Subjective and objective are equally important.

To sum up, it is the objectivity and subjectivity that are two main characteristics of observation. Neither pure objectivity nor complete subjectivity exists. Observation not only can be objective but must be subjective if we are to embrace the more fundamental notion of knowledge and truth exist.

第一段中:scientists are trying to observe in a more objective way in order to obtain the most reliable evidence to reveal the regulations of nature.前面是a more objective way , 后面也应该是a more reliable evidence

For instance, you cannot measure atoms using an ordinary ruler or discover bacteria through naked eyes.

(1)the more solidly it approach the real truth 这个solidly用得不好。可以用 the closer...(2)Although someone may argue that in the art area objective is a mission impossible, we cannot neglect the fact that the art works must  be loyalty to the substantial world which is objective.艺术本身就是subjective的,很多art works都根本不忠实于the substantial world。Some artists - perhaps the best artists - are accomplished enough in the use of their medium to be able to work by virtue of their intuition, their instinct and their sense of what looks and feels right .  They might not even be consciously aware of the precise meaning of these things. They are loyal to their own intuition rather than the substantial world.

Perhaps, there is no such distinct partition before[between!] them.

Although completely objectivity is an unattainable ideal, may be even a delusion, scientists are trying to observe in a more objective way (more不是很好,do their utmost to 尽量做) in order to obtain the most (这里用more好) reliable evidence to reveal the regulations of nature. In my opinion, objectivity and subjectivity are both important qualities to observation, therefore it is not justifiable to simply seperate(这个词很容易写错,separate) them.

Unbiased observation is a sham, for the act of observing itself alters what we are observing. As a result, it is difficult to find such thing as purely objective observation. There are three main factors which influence the objectivity of observing results (换个说法,impede the objective observations): observer's personal habit, measurement (and description languages)used in observing process and the use of descriptive languages. Firstly, the observer's expectations and desires force the observation to go to a certain direction (方向可以支持观点吗?to seek out certain facts that …, and simply or unconsciously overlook others.) which will strongly supports the observer's assumption or fulfill the observer's benefit mostly(怎么有这么多observer啊,可以用代词;). Secondly, how you set about measuring something determines the final result of the observation(后面的例子只是说明了需要选择合适的测量工具,而没有涉及测量对观测结果的影响。). For instance, you cannot measure atoms using an ordinary ruler or discover bacteria through naked eyes. Thirdly, every observer must discern and extrapolate information about what they have observed in descriptive languages based on previous knowledge, experience and self condition . For example, it must appear different expressions of color between ordinary people and color blindness In a word, it is too arbitrary to assert that there exists purely objective observation

Nevertheless, even though there is no purely objective observation, we still are aiming at pursuing objectivity. The more "objective" the observation, the more solidly it approach the real truth (换个说法,the closer it is from the real truth), especially in the scientific research area. The researchers always make efforts to perceive data without distortion (改为动名词,being distorted) by personal feelings, prejudices or interpretations. Therefore, the comparatively objective results of observation can be verifiable by other observers. Then the results will be the reality on firm ground and can be accepted by more researchers. Although someone may argue that in the art area objective is a mission impossible, we cannot neglect the fact that the art works must  be loyalty (形容词 loyal)to the substantial world which is objective (科幻小说?

Moreover, as it turns out, the observers who represent subjectivity and the observed which is objective are two equally important aspects in the process of observation Perhaps, there is no such distinct partition before (之间,between) them. We've been tailoring our discoveries of "objective" realities to suit our predilections (加个逗号) to fit our composite "subjective" reality and to conform to our paradigm. Perhaps, in fact(这两个副词可以放在一起用吗?), reality is neither "objective" nor "subjective." Together they comprise the reality we know and both are equally important in its composition(这句话什么意思?). What we subjectively put in is as important as the objective component. Subjective and objective are equally important. 其实你可以讲 objective observation collects original materials, while subjective factors such as observers’ expectations or desires help reveal the meaning behind them. )

To sum up, it is the objectivity and subjectivity that are two main characteristics of observation. Neither pure objectivity nor complete subjectivity exists (完全主观的观察不存在没有论述). Observation not only can be objective but must be subjective if we are to embrace the more fundamental notion of knowledge and truth exist Observation must be both objective and subjective if …..).

Nothing been perceived does not necessarily mean nothing existed. Thirdly, every observer must discern and extrapolate information about what they have observed in descriptive languages based on previous knowledge, experience and self-condition. For example, it must appear different expressions of color between ordinary people and color blindness. Together they comprise the reality we know and both are equally important in its composition.
