Issue 150：“Because of television and worldwide computer connections, people can now become familiar with a great many places that they have never visited. As a result, tourism will soon become obsolete.

1。旅游是不可替代的，因为她可以使人们从繁忙的工作中走出来，放松心情，领略大自然的风光。就像目前的即时通讯不可以代替书信交往、CD、VCD、DVD不可以代替电影一样。
2。旅游其实会被电视网络的发展而促进的。
3。承认，电视以及网络如今发展的非常快，可以使那些没有时间或是没有钱去旅游的人了解到全球各地的风土人情。


The author maintains that tourism will soon become obsolete because the development of television and worldwide internet makes people become familiar with a great many places that they have never visited. On surface, it seems logical that you know so you do not have to see. In my point of view, however, tourism is not replaceable and can be encourage by the television and worldwide computer connections.

First of all, visiting the places that we have never been is an attractive thing because we can place ourselves in this beautiful and comfortable circumstance, moreover, breathing in this clear air, seeing the thriving perspective, hearing the sound of river, we can thoroughly release our nerve which always tightened because of the press of work or the burden of the family. At present, with the reformation of the technology and the rapid development of the society, the rhythm of people's living is more and more quick, which make people do not have the time to enjoy the nature. Therefore, if the workers living in the major city have the chance to tour places they have never visited such as Tai mountain, Cheng De, or the place of interest twice a year, they will have not other desires. Actually, the fact that tourism is not substituted is the same as the written letters are not superseded by the instant communication which although is more convenient, and CD, VCD can not displace the films.

In addition, it is television and worldwide computer connections that encourage the development of the tourism. Firstly, the vivid information provided by television and internet enkindle the interest of persons, if you want to experience the beauty then go to the places wherever you want. Secondly, many tourism associations make ad. by television and internet which are indispensable for our living and working currently. Thirdly, you will be benefit by internet for theirs function that facilitate you reserve the ticket of restaurant and plane, or link with tourism association. It is apparent that television and internet encourage the tourism.

Admittedly, reforming of the technology is so quickly that television and internet become the indispensable things that make our living rich and colorful. They can make one who has not time to tour enjoy the culture or custom of different places, appreciate the landscape through several maps when he or she is tiring.

In conclusion, as the product of technology and economy, television and worldwide computer connections play an essential role in comfort people's living, including facilitating people's tourism. Thus tourism will not become obsolete, on the contrary, it will not be displaced for its joy.
