    There are many art forms in the world. Many great artists and many great artistic works from those normal artists have given humankind enjoyment and better understanding of our beautiful and harmonious world. The artists present their art works and the critics evaluate these works. In my opinion, the assessment of artistic works from those critics can also make lasting value as the artists give us. We can talk about both the value which is given by artists and critics of them.
    To begin with, artist is a very important vocation in our world. They weaved many great works which have influenced even all the people in the world. The booming of painting inspiration of humankind can be backtracked to the time of Rennaissance. From then on, the religious shackle on those greatest painters broke and many greatest paint works as well as statue had been presented by them. For instance, the painting Last Supper, the Statue of David and those paintings which were drawn on walls of churches. These great works are invaluable treasure of human history and influenced much on view of value. In novel field, great works which have influenced on us deeply are also uncountable. Many of those great works by those great writers have been taught in school. They influenced not only on ourselves and also on our descendents. Films, as well as music, are two other forms of art. From films, normal people can see stories in which visionary or historical events happen almost everywhere in the world. Human can not live without music. Music is power. It can bring us joy and passion, relieve pain and loneliness. The great music which is performed by sophisticated musicians can even make people burst into tears. Without all these forms of artistic works by artists, our human world will not be an integrity.
    Critics can both praise an art work or criticize it. From the positive evaluations of critics, we can understand the spirit of an artwork and find the right way to enjoy it. From the negative evaluations, we can find weakpoints of an artwork and make clear why these deficits appear. And from them, artists can improve them skills. Without a good assessment of a great art work, the art work may even lose its luster as time goes. For example, we all know the name of those musical works which ware done Betheveen, but which one of us made an understanding of them from listening them first? From the very beginning, we read something from critics about the works and know that they are great. Then, we find ways to enjoy them. That process is an important one for us to enjoy a great art work. For this reason, critics can also make lasting value of art works.
    An art work and the critique of it together give us the right value of the art work. Art work can not separate from critique and critique can not be alone. We must take artists and critcs as equal importance to enjoy art works.
    Given the discussion above, the statement is partially true because it has make right description of the vale of artists. And it is partially wrong because critics can also give lasting value as artists do from an art work.
