ARGUMENT4

In order to suggest that Adams can help sell the house quickly and at a good price, the argument provide several facts to prove it. However, there are some reasoning fallacies in it and we should consider more to take the move.

Is it told that the number of agents work in Adams are more than that of Fitch, of which some agents are part-time. But we should remember firstly that there is only one agency that we need to deal with our house. The number of staff means little here. Maybe the ability of the Fitch agents are better than that of those of Adams, so there are fewer agents in Fitch. We should consider more about the selling records and other kinds of material that can reflect the ability of the agents of both. Moreover, employing part-time agents can show that the application principle of Fitch are more flexible, which is no awfully idea for a selling company.

As to the notion that the revenue of Adams are higher than Fitch, the speaker want to imply that the operation of Adams is better. However, the comparison of profit or the comparison of profit ratio of capital of the two companies are much more convincing than that. Adams should naturally sells more as it has more agents. Maybe they sold those houses by grinding, but earned less.

Moreover, the Adams sold houses averaged more than Fitch, which may seemed an advantage of Adams. But there exist several underlying possible reasons for that. First one is that the types of houses sold by the two companies are different. There are many factors that determine the prices of a house. The area ,the environment, the location, the transportation and etc. All of them have influence on the price of the whole house. If some factors change, the price would change. Some owners may even sell their real estate at a lower price than the price they buy them. So the comparison of the average price can't tell which one is better. We should listen to the customers of both for their satisfaction of the deals. However, the comparison is more than totally useless as we can evaluate the price of our house and find our that which average price does the price of our house falls in .The two companies may good at selling different level of price of houses. We should keep that in mind. Moreover, if the average price of house that Fitch sold is at the middle of the price of houses in the city that can mean that the Fitch may has the ability to deal with many types of houses while the Adams can only sell expensive ones.

What's more, the speaker's personal experience of Fitch is obviously out of date. That happened ten years ago. Maybe the executive of it and the agents are all changed. And the houses sold by them are different. Maybe the one sold by the Adams is in great demand while the one by the Fitch is of the opposite. Moreover, time is not the only consideration of selling. If Fitch can sell at a really nice price in four month, and the customer is not that hurry in doing this, Fitch should be favorable.

And the passage is posted on internet. Sometimes those passages can be a kind of advertisement of a company towards which it has bias attitudes. We should be aware of this and have more rationality in reading such passages, which seems lacking enough reasoning. We should be clear in mind that what we want, and which company is more suitable for us to sell the house.

In order to suggest that Adams can help sell(ing) the house quickly and at a good price, the argument provide several facts to prove it. However, there are some reasoning fallacies in it and we should consider more to take the move.

But we should remember firstly that there is only one agency that we need to deal with our house. The number of staff means little here. Maybe the ability of the Fitch agents are better than (that of可以去掉) those of Adams, so there are fewer agents in Fitch.

However, the comparison of profit or the comparison of profit ratio of capital of(这OF也太多了吧,尽管没有毛病) the two companies are much more convincing than that.
