The application of new technology has popularized worldwide with the modernization and industrialization steps. Innovation such as video camera changes contemporary lives of people prominently. As the speaker’s assert, such devices is more superior than the traditional ones and even may replace them in many cases. However, in my opinion, written from documents will still play essential rolls in human’s lives.

The two ways of record are not comparable. It is distinct to each other of their different character. The camera makes the record spatial, moving, and original which is directly perceivedthroughthesenses of the spectator. Video records have many overwhelming advantages of efficiency and accuracy. It is very easy to take and copy,  that is satisfying the modern demand of contemporary lives. Reappearing of such scenery is helpful for people to record many important moments. In contrary, the written form which used of thousand years is more abstract and it did well in the duration and stability and contributed much in human history in every. The merit of the two recording way is opposite that we can hardly speak which one can substitute the other. The two types of documents can operate efficiently in different recording area.

Advantages of written records determinate that many special purposes documents must be achieved by written version. First, the written document is formal that many essential events and occasions must be recorded in a grave ways. Facts manifest that documents in governmentorganizations always make data in written version. Although digital version and many other types of documents are exerted too, the main record method is still written form. Digital version of the documents can help searching work more convenient, other types can assist information more complete, and the written version can be much more solemn. Second, paper based documents are safer and easier to preserve for long time. Making marks to record important events begun when human kind evolved as the most superior species from other mammals, which is the predecessor of handwriting. Thousand years time later, we can still see the evidence of our ancestors’ mind, behavior, custom, etc. Third, the traditional noting method can express human’s emotion adequately. Sometimes delicate affections communicating with written words are more property. Such as people use to write poems to express such emotions but take a photo or a video.

The cooperation of written documents and video records is necessary in many fields. Without each of them, many situations cannot be exactly record. The complementary of the two forms is a gift from the human intelligence. For instance, drama we seen on TV or in video CD is often considered to be recorded in video version, but there must be a script behindthescenes and the plight need to be wrote down before the actors’ performance. The mutual help of the two types document form can speed up the development of human greatly.  

In sum, considering video record and written documents, it is hardly to say which is more important to us, even our modern lives. People have room to choose the right one for the occasions, goals, objects, etc. which is the real benefit the technology contributes to us.

文章写得非常不错,语句和单词都比较朴实,但是结构感和层次感较强,而且关键是写得流畅~个人认为这篇issue比较出彩,不过在论述的深度方面可以再斟酌一下
