The article illustrated the view that 4 work day will benefit company, society and the employees themselves. However, the lecturer holds a different point.


Firstly, in company aspect, the article argues that hiring more employee will not increase company’s expense because every 4-day worker only takes 80% salary, while this method can help winnow out over-work and error-prone employees. However, the lecturer disagrees with the optimistic point that company’s expenditure will not increase. He points out that more recruit means more training are needed, more computer and work space are required plus extra insurance company has to pay for them.

Secondly, in society aspect, the article believes with the application of this method, country’s overall unemployment rate will be declined because more people will be hired. However, the lecturer points out that company may consider the costs of more employment thus requiring 4 day worker work more hours everyday to make up their extra time or cast expectation on their jobs; thus unemployment rate will not decrease.

Thirdly, in personal aspect, the article shows employees can get more rests so that their life qualities are improved. Thence they will be more alert in the work which can surely decrease their error rate. While the lecturer holds the view that 4 day worker are more likely to be fired during economic depression because of their deficiency of stability. Also the lecturer thinks these worker are prone to be deprived of the opportunity of being promoted because, companies are more inclined to designate 5 day workers in management position due to their consistent coverage of work hours.

实在不好意思的是，我也是第一次写第一次评。。。

我看完了没找到拼写错误和语法错误。但是感觉你这篇每段话里面偏重reading的部分太多了，lecture里的东西写得比较少，不知道你是听力的问题呢还是就是打算这么写。如果是听力的问题的话，推荐看看3楼的，那哥们儿听力特细的点都听出来写上了。。。

另外就是37楼那个人的，我觉得写得特好，重点在听力的材料，也兼顾了阅读的~
