Arctic deer live on islands in Canada's arctic region. They search for food by moving over ice from island to island during the course of a year. Their habitat is limited to areas warm enough to sustain the plants on which they feed, and cold enough, at least some of the year, for the ice to cover the sea separating the islands, allowing the deer to travel over it. Unfortunately, according to reports from local hunters, the deer populations are decling. Since these reports coincide with recent global warming trends that have caused the sea ice to melt, we can conclude that the decline in arctic deer populations is the result of deer being unable to follow their age-old migration patterns across the frozen sea.

The argument refers a kind of deer living on the islands in Canada's arctic region where must be neither too cold nor too warm. However , the hunters there find that the deer populations are declining. Considering the recent global warming, people ascribe the declining of the deer populations to学习了 the change of climate. At first glance, it seems reasonable that increasing temperature disorganizes the deer's natural habitats. With further thinking, we find it is illogical.

A species population depends on many things, although the deer populations` declining coincided with the global warming. But we don't know whether the melting ice caused by increasing temperature has influenced deer's formal migration across the frozen sea. If only the bottom of the ice has been melt, deer can follow their age-old migration patterns as their previous generation. Also the global warming may affect the plants the deer need. Shorting for essential food, populations will certainly decrease.

Most of the species' extinction on the earth is not for natural condition but human beings. From the argument, we know there are hunters near the arctic deer habitat. There is every possible that it's the hunters over hunting makes the deer population a rapid declining. Also 这种用法第一次见 不知正不正确 it may a increasing population of other species that living on the same plants as arctic deer make the plants declined, which can lead to a same result.

Another potential killer is industry pollution. Whether or not industry pollution has been a special problem not only for human beings but also animals in nature. Maybe where the deer live is a place where has an advanced industry. Poison float in the plants that arctic deer need with the air. That will make the deer a serious disease or directly dead. At the same time, wasting water polluted by factory also has the same effect.

Above all, the author infers the conclusion that the deer populations' decreasing is for the reason that global warming isn't reasonable. There are other possible factors may lead to a species' declining. We should consider it all-sided. Any influence may be deathful factors.
