Issue208: The way people look, dress, and act reveals their attitudes and interests. You can tell much about a society’s ideas and values by observing the appearance and behavior of its people.

The era is a material era. With the increase of living standard of daily lives’, our people are facing the hectic changes by which will pass soon. This absurd phenomenon may bring about the danger that will harass the value and the moral fiber of a person, since more and more people are losing their judgment by seeking some kind of thoughts and ideas in the society which is abound of brands, property, lies and so forth, without evaluating more important factors.

Actually, it is true that the way they wear , they speak, or even they behave can be the the symbol of certain people in his social circles, to some extent. And the logo which is attached to the cloths and the accessories can reveal the Taste and interest of an elegant people. A rock-and-roll musician never chooses to wear a uniform wandering the garden paths; and a hippies never choose to wear sporty cloths yawning on the playground. However, are their artificial Tastes that can reveal their values and thoughtful ideas? Are their branding choose that can be representative of their moralities?

As the old or even out-of-fashioned saying goes: Don’t judge a book from its appearance. For those who involve themselves in cultivating the better lifestyles and social principles for the human races as a whole such as scholars, scientists, engineers and so on, they may care about the relationships between vital researches, they may care about the results of their studies, but they never care about the design of a dress, the countries of the models on the T-stage. Even for those who show themselves off the publics such as politicians and superstars, the appearance which is exposed to the public is somewhat untrue. The real thought and idea of these people’s daily lives is under the cover of glories and spotlight. In that word, we cannot be convinced that the appearance of those different kinds of BOOKS tell the true stories of themselves.

More important, the ideas and values of the society is the solid existence which can prove the presence of a man or even a race. They are not perishable materials. Even though the ideas and values are created by people itself from the beginning, they will become the fixed general principles that will pose an significance to the society and can be hardly changed by the public, just like the process of the laws and regulations that were enacted.

Finally, I want to further my conclusion about this complicated issue that the social ideas and values is the co-existence of all the lives which cannot be revealed by single ones. Every one can choose his or her way of life, but cannot determine the inner trends of society casually.

这个题目你没看仔细，其实他的侧重点是在后面，就是说从外表看透一个社会，而不仅仅是人从人身上的却可以反映一个人的状态，
也可以从人们外表反映一个社会的整体价值观和理念
但同时外表又不一定能准确反映还可以指出社会的价值体现在其他方面
