When we talk about clothes, a great many ladies may go into rapture. Sometimes, men also like to talk about clothes for it is concerned with face and appearance. For a large number of people, they take considerable interest in clothes because they can evaluate others' attitudes and interests exactly by observing people's appearance and behavior. Of course, such a subjective estimation can lose its effect at some times.

Admittedly, appearance can to some extent reflect the careers and inclination. It is not hard to find that there is a big difference in clothes between people from various backgrounds. Singers or movie stars seem to choose beautiful clothes, even weird in my eyes. White collars prefer to wear formal uniform. For researchers, they seems to disregard social convention without being conscious that they are professors or highly educated people and often wear some common and simple, even obsolete clothes. Such a big difference has its own cause that people in different fields have some special inclination in clothes. For popular stars, they dress them up as idols and attract attention of the public, especially their fans. A clean and formal uniform always gives people a good impression that white collars are professional and offer high quality service. Scientists, seemingly intelligent but failing to show their "intelligent" choice of clothes, devote themselves to research and ignore the material enjoyment. No matter how beautiful clothes are, scientists sometimes show the ideas that whether they are suitable to work. Hence, people in different realm show quite different choices in clothes, which can help people to acquire the information about their careers easily.


However, only learning the appearance is far away from exactly knowing the actual ideas and values of people. People's behavior gives us more information about their internal mind world. Young people often show others their creativity and glamor through smiling face. Family housewives may be embarrassed when they come to situation of lacking money. College students may have great ambition and confidence just before they graduate. Smiling makes people happy an even indicates a sense of young. The awkward faces tell us that life is not too easy, especially supporting a big family with few income resources. The ambition suggests that we are preparing to face challenge at any time.

Provided appearance and behavior shed the light of ideas and interests in our deep mind, there are times when we fail to do anything to know others just from these two characters. Great minds usually show their common faces to the public and they truly come to fame from a non-outstanding people. Their minds comprise lots of extraordinary personal experiences and confliction, even affliction. These experiences are carefully stashed and great minds do not want to bring their adverse emotions to others. That is why they are great. Hence, the appearance and outside behavior is good mask for those who don't want share their internal mind world to others.

In summary, appearance and behavior to some extent help us to know people about their attitudes and interests. However, truly and effective understand to people's intrinsic thoughts needs further communication. Time sometimes plays a significant role to help us know people objectively.
