It is known that governments play an important role, which makes policies that can have influence on many aspects in our daily life. According to the speaker, the immediate problems should take governments' most time to deal with, it is too extreme. In my opinion, governments' duty is to deal with both immediate problems and anticipated problems of the future efficiently and make the most practical strategies to solve these two kinds of problems.

To begin with, it is improtant for governments to focus on solving the immediate problems because majority of people are concerned about these problems such as poverty, starvation, war, epidemic, unemployment and so on.These problems are linked to the people's daily life, so to solve these problems is to make governments trusted by common people. Without the efforts, governments may facing more rebellsion. In the economic crisis, that a few of European countries fails to solve the economy problems causes people in these coutries begin to demonstrate during the working time.So we can conclude that solving the immediate problems are helpful to promote the public image of governments and, more important, make them trusted by common people.

Also, trying to solve the anticipated problems is another essentisl part of governments. It is myopic for governments to overlook or pay little attention to the anticipated problems of future.In the economy fields, governments should make out a plan about the development of future. With it governments may not get stuck while confronting development problems.In the fields of education, governments should pay more attention to their future development plans just because students in school have to get adapted to the future competion.The most improtant is when the governments make out the future plan of evrionmental protecing.Protecting environment should be taken into consideration all the time for the natural sources, air and water condition and so on.It means that governments should never overlook the sustainability.From what discussed above, we can easily conclude that goverments should try to make plans for future development and avoid the situation that they will get stuck when facing the unpredicted problems.

At last, the duty of governments is not unbalanced and they should seek for the balcance point when developing between these two kinds of problems.It is the most improtant for governments to make sufficient strategeies about time allocation.During the different time, government may face different  problems.For example, during the economy depression, governments should think about the practical plan just as the New Deal during the Great Depression other than pay much attention to the development of athletic fileds, which may be not only criticized by politicians but also considered as inadequate by common people.

To sum up, it is unwise to draw conclusion about which should take more time to solve betweent the immediate problems and anticipated problems of the future by governments without the real situations that governments face.Actually what governments should do is to do the right things at the right situations with efficient strategies.

1 文章大体结构没有问题，就是句子有点不好读，楼主可以尝试一下用词和句式上的变化，另外要尽量避免罗嗦，重复的话尽量不写。
2 对于内容， 正文前两段其实可以再展开一点，第一段说现在问题，可以全面分析一下解决现在问题的理由，不只是为了维持统治和公信 也是因为现在问题紧急，并且实际，解决他们有现实利益
对于正文第二段，说解决以后的问题，楼主的例子很好，但侧重点不切题。 说的都是为未来做计划，应该点到未来将会出现的问题这一点。而作计划不一定考虑到了未来情况，这两点是不同的。比如说保护环境本身，其实就是解决将来可能的问题， 还有新能源， 教育， 等等都是可以直接作为例子的。
