when i was a little girl, my canadian friends, who were my neighbors, called me Laura.
when i grew up and went to the university, the french professor named me Caroline. And Caroline remained my french/english name for 6 years, in my office they called me Caroline too.
But now when i finally came to Paris, I found out that all my  profs and my friends like to call my chinese name, and for them it sounds good to pronounce it.

So sometimes i got confused, lost in all these names...  But i still prefere Caroline... it's an appelation( i am speaking in frenglish, i dun't know how to say it correctly in english ...:D ) that can recall me so many sweet memories...

Well...my Papa named me Catherine when I was little, but two years later ( When I was 8-year-old), I fell in love with my current one "Franchesca" at the first voice!:D

Hehe...let me tell u something, benlii. Nicolas is a typical name that could be used from one country to another, but actually it originated from the great Greece which stands for conqueror :) I'm telling the truth... ;)
