Wenna. My American teacher gave me this name.  I don't know what it stands for exactly. Many Americans told me it is not a typical american name, anyhow it sounds very unique and pretty.

Franchesca is not a typical Italian name either, Actually it is an American professor (my Daddy's colleague) who gave me this name since he took Italian as his second language, He told me that "Franchesca" was made up of some really beautiful syllables and it is a name after no one.

So...I am the only Franchesca in this world:D

I just named myself Bell. Initially, the name was supposed to be "Belle" , but my friend told me others may think I am a Narcissist. Although I told her that I don't care about how others think of me, I have changed it to "Bell."  
"Belle" is the name of a female protagonist in a Chinese Movie. I like one of the scenes in the movie, and more importantly, I liked the name. "Belle" remined me of the hospital I worked for while I was in high school. The name of the hospital is " Bellevue", and my supervisor told me the meaning of "belle" in Latin (beautiful) in year 1998 while I was still in training to become a Chinese Interpreter in one of the largest hospital in the Country. Once in a while, some of the sorrow and sadness as well as the joy and happiness of two years I spent at Bellevue still come to me.
To avoid the misunderstanding, I changed "Belle" to "Bell". I like the book title"For whom the Bell Tolls," by Ernest Hemingway. In the book, it quoted---John Donne (1572 - 1631), Meditation XVII "No man is an Island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the Continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friends or of thine own were; any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in Mankind; And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; It tolls for thee."  I heard of this quote for the first time when I was a senior in high school. It was in an advanced placement English class. The teacher who told me this quote is a very kind and funny American man, and he is one of the teacher I will remember for a life time.
Lastly, since I like teddybear very much, "bell" sounds quite close to " bear." Not really, but it's okay for me.
For the above reason, I am satisfied with "Bell".
